2008 YAMAHA R1 Full Superbike Motorcycle Review [YZF-R1 2007-08] 

The 2008 YAMAHA R1 is a superbike that not only looks the best, but it also rides the best. This is the first bike to reach the 1:1 power to weight ratio, and they did it with dual under-tail exhaust. In 2007-08 the two models were essentially the same. Changes those years included an updated Deltabox V frame, a 4 valve engine (more mid-range), updated styling and GP ram air intake, and a fly by wire throttle.
