I had an YBR a 2006 one. It was my first motorcycle when I was 16. My top speed was 110 km/h which is around 65mph on straight but at downhill I could pull 140 km/h which is 86mph. I was happy with it and I think for a 125 it was enough and fun to ride. I would definitely buy a YBR if I wanted a first bike.

Thanks for the comment! Funny yiu say that as a few weeks ago I got hit by a car and my ybr is now a right of and my hire bike is a Honda cb125f. The Honda is so much smoother and slightly faster but you would expect that on a newer bike. The ybr revs 1000rpm higher than the Honda and it's probably more bullit proof than the Honda I would say. The ybr's gearbox isn't as smooth but I would say I prefer the ybr one as it always finds neutral straight away and shits through all the box more positively. Overall though I prefer the Honda now. Hope this helps
I actually rode a CBF not too long ago and they are definitly a bit quicker than the ybr and better if you are a taller person like me but the ybr has it on the looks for me
