..none of them used to use/need a primer bubble...that sissiness was brought on by novice operators and the finnicky, lean-set EPA junk carburetors...the fuel pump diaphragm in the carburetor, operated off crankcase impulses, draws the fuel into the carburetor...
They don’t make the original size line anymore, 1/4”od Tygon works, but the ends have to be stretched to fit the carb and fuel filter. 5/16”od is really to tight to fit through the tank hole. I hate to open the tank up a bit, but it may be my best option.
