Thank you for the video! I was under the impression that all the hoses had to come off and I just knew in my heart those plastic hoses would break the moment I pull off the clamp. My water pump has been bad since March. About 30k miles. Now it’s starting to squeak nonstop so I have no other choice but to change it. You made it look way easier than the other videos did
I would like to thank you for taking the time to make this video. My water pump went out while driving in the middle of a city and I had to change it in the parking lot. Your video was the best one I found and was able to follow it step by step. I completed the job in about 1.5 hours. You are so amazing. You saved me $1,200 and a tow. Thank you.
Great video. Exactly how the repair manual says to do it. Except that the repair manual recommends to loose the pulley's bolt with the belt on to prevent the pulley from turning and make it "easy" overall. My question is. If I decide to change the hoses, do I have to do anything different that what you did?
@@haydenhull985 one more question sir if you don't mind. My kit brought me what seems to be two gaskets or seals, however they called it, is it a spear or do I have to use two somehow? Don't know if I am explaining myself very well.
I know exactly what you mean. My kit came the same way. The other seal is just a spare I assume because I just put one on and I have absolutely no leaks
