Loved this review. Your passion for the car is obvious and the information was so much more in depth. Having lived in Cyprus for three years it was also great to see the roads again. I can imagine a trip to Nicosia or Ayia Napa. Awesome.

Some corrections: the M-package doesn't have special BMW logo's. If they are black & white this means the original logo's have been replaced. Also, the 6 cylinder engines available in the Z4 are inline sixes, not V6. The metal look on the inside is carbon pattern aluminum, not chrome. But I agree with you: it is fun to drive and always puts a smile on your face.

Actually Frank big Thank you :) It seems you are one of those who really watched everything. And yes, you are right, I misunderstood the straight six as a V6, but thank you for letting me know what was wrong. About the BMW Logo, the same, as I saw them, I automatically received them as an M package logo's. I will leave a cc in the video and update the info.

Yep someone definitely did some black custom touches to this Z4: all the badges and those facelift sidemarkers are chrome from factory and came out in 2013. If i remember correctly its 2012 28i so someone painted and retrofitted these sidemarkers on that particular car. Front lights are not facelift so it cant be true facelift. Im not saying its bad. Owner liked to spend money on the car and keep it nice, which is great. I have also replaced every badge on my 09 z4 35i but with OEM badges. And they are not cheap, around 40 eur for each bodypanel badge( there are 4 of them) + all the wheel center caps cost like 40 eur total aswell. So 200 eur worth of badges if you go genuine bmw. Facelift sidemarkers cost a bit over 100 eur for the pair.

Nice model but the m sport package doesn’t have b/w BMW logos or black side indicators - that’s done by the owner. BMW M Sport uses the same BMW Logos, has the model and m logo on the sides, sport front and rear bumpers, sport steering wheel, sport seats, m sport suspension. The carbon spoiler lip on the car is also aftermarket.

Thank you for pointing it out, previously in a separate coment somebody also informed me that there are no differences in the logo.. mistake from my side on not checking this info before providing it. Still learning on mistakes :)

You'd think owning a 2016 E89 M Sport and driving it every day I'd get enough of this car....but I can't. I think it's one of the most beautiful and masculine cars ever made. It's gorgeous and so much fun to drive. Thanks for making this car porn.

The 18i, 20i and 28i all use the same 2.0 L engine with turbo. Just different states of tune. The 18i and 20i can have same or more power than 28i with a remap .

Any car worth it with a clean history or if you know the owner took care of it. This car especially is long time no more under the ownership of my colleague so I really couldn’t say anything if the car is ok or not :(
