That's called "getting it done" no screwing around there. This guy has got to make $hundreds every day. I can't stop watching. Keep doing what you do man!
Thank you so much for your video. Gave me the confidence to change one on my sons Mito. You made it look easy and to be fair, with watching you do it a couple of times, it was ok. Took me a bit longer than your 45 minutes... I have a lot of respect for you throwing the gearboxes back up into place! Donation sent :)
Just had to come back to this video and say thanks! Managed to do mine today but jesus you must have some muscles! I nearly had a hernia trying to lift my gearbox up and align it. Ended up dragging my knackered old engine hoist out from the back of the garage to do it!
Another brilliant video! keeping people mobile during CV19 👍 I think the exhaust flexi went for a walk lol. It was also nice seeing the owner drive it off 😁 Congratulations 10k subs!
Trank you very much for this Video and putting the effort into cutting it! Was great to have as reference for a clutch replacement on a 2011 Mito 1.4 Multiair.
Hi do you know how to adjust the clutch pedal position(the pedal feeling and the stroke are good) just the pedal position? After the change the pesar it’s too high in comparison with the brake and gas pedal
I have the same problem! I have recently changed Clutch, Flywheel and the pedal pump. My car was leaking brake fluid because of the thrust bearing so i had to go through all this. After replacing Clutch kit, bearing and the Flywheel the Clutch pedal had a weird feeling and the gears went in worse! It felt like there was a Little more space to push the Clutch pedal and when i pushed really hard the Clutch It changed fine, real Smooth. So they bleeded the Clutch circuit but still had the same happening. In the end they told me that It was probably the Clutch pedal pump and now It shifts a little bit Better but still worse than before i did all this! Now After the new Clutch pedal pump installation I feel that the pedal itself Is placed higher and has a weird clearance , so that i can lift It up With my foot to Place it in the position It Is suposed to be. I am very confused , thank you in Advance and Sorry for my not perfect english. I really Need an advice. Lost already too much Money on this and i am very disappointed. Thanks for sharing mate. I have to do my mito 155hp with M32 box. Do I have to take off the bottom frame? Last time my friend and I took it off as there was no room to slide the box out. Thanks in advance.
Dear Mr. Kevin-Albert Williams! I'm not a mechanic, but I will try to do the same procedure on my 1.4 Turbo MiTo with the M32 gearbox here in Hungary. I can see that you didn't remove the subframe in this video. Did you ever do the same procedure on a turbo MiTo? If yes, then did you remove the subframe, or you can take off the M32 too without removing it first?
@@WMCS You have a few videos, and in the 1.4L, you didn't take out the gearbox. Which one are you referring? :D Im actually replacing the gearbox, so I have to take it out. Will I have to release the subframe a bit, or take it off completely? And again, thank you for you answer, and your videos. Very helpful.
Hello ! I have a question and I hope you can help me solve the problem! I have an Alfa Romeo Mito 2011 1.4 petrol automatic gearbox and the engine was damaged and I had to change the engine and I bought an engine and we changed the engine but after changing the engine the transmission it does not work and when you put it in driving mode or any mode it crack a few times and then gives a signal of a malfunction in the gearbox. And when you do the diagnos, it gives you an issue in hydraulic system. Do you have any suggestions or idea about this ISSUE ? REGARDS
when adding gearbox oil ,while fastening the fill port you can see how easy that mount is moving about, looks like it needs a new gearbox mount, that engine is moving far to easy in that bay
Have done plenty of these on punto's , I usually change the clutch fork as they are made of toffee, the gearbox mount is knackered beyond belief, how could the punter be driving that like that , no front flex either, great job in the sunshine Kevin , I've been off for 3 weeks now , plenty of DIY at home , take care
Great video I now know Im gonna pay someone to do this as it will be far quicker! It never ceases to amaze me how much hard work the designers make it to get at!
Este tío es una máquina, da gusto verle trabajar. Lo he tomado como mi gurú de mecánica y hasta tengo ganas de que se desgaste mi disco de embrague para cambiarlo yo mismo. Saludos desde Ibiza!
...and two years later I finally changed it on my sons 1.4 Mito last weekend. Couldn't of done it without your video Kevin, brilliant. How you lifted the box back in I don't know..I had to jack it up with the help of my neighbour!
Thank you for your excellent videos. About two years ago, I successfully changed the clutch on a Ford StreetKa based on one of your videos. Today I used this one here to start on my daughters Mito. Need to get e-profil nuts for the mounts tomorrow. Not clearly seen in the steps is if you removed the flex hose from the exhaust?! It is off as can be seen in some part and and I think it is required. Turned out to be the worst part due to rusty bolts Paypal donating is on its way!!!

That’s it. I’ve actually got a newer version of a Mito I’m working on tomorrow. They’ve decided to fit it with a DMF. it should be live on the channel this Saturday 🍻🍻
Hi ! you are great but in this video Fiat always proves very bad unfortunately .. I wanted to ask you what brand of inserts do you use for the milwaukee .. congratulations again
@@WMCS sealey good price / quality ratio! 👍🏻 we in Italy only beta and usag but they cost too much .. waiting for another video from you, I always follow you bye
And new gearbox/engine mounts, new tyres (he is using the emergency Tyre?) and a new alignment (look at the uneven Tyre profile), I assume many more things.
Hi there, great video, thumbs up. Question: I replaced the clutch on my Giulietta from 2011 and now when I steer to the right or left there is cracking, scraping sound. This is also when the engine is turned of and when turned on. Do you know what the cause can be? A mechanic told me it is the left strut, but it happened directly after the clutch replacement...any ideas?
