Tom Brady makes his return for New England, starting his first game since tearing his ACL in Week 1 of 2008, as the Pats host Trent Edwards and the Bills in a close one to kickoff the '09 season.
@@bxlb1251 Amen and AMEN! I hope the guy keeps right on burning the # down straight into his 50's!! Shit, I'm 53 and sometimes I feel like I could stand in the pocket and Get'r Done!! No reason for that arm and Brain Pan to stop now..
Besides Brady’s emotional return, let’s not forget Terrell Owens & Randy Moss the two greatest hall of fame WRs besides Jerry Rice were in the same game on this night!🔥
2009 Patriots had a rough season; its illuminating that that's the year Bellichik got followed around for a 2 episode Football Life. The stuff he says; like "I can't get them to play the way I need them to play" - Even the greatest HC ever is finding his limits that season. Crazy; considering 2008 they won 11 games without Brady; so it HAD been a great roster; but its just the 2007 team's decline and replacements. You got 31 other teams snapping at the same talent pool; there's going to be gaps.
Brady's last back shoulder throw to Watson was simply epic and under the game circumstances should be way up the list of TB12's greatest touchdown passes.
At some point in there careers Taylor. Moss and Galloway might have been the fastest in the league....might as well through in Owens...I followed Galloway late in career and he was just fast as anyone. Fred I followed all of his career. He probably was never caught from behind.
Hey Bart can you maybe upload the Miami vs buffalo game from week 1 of 2010 I’m trying to watch all of Miami’s games and this is the only one I need that is left
The funniest thing about mckelvins fumble is u see ghostkowski celebrating while the ball is still loose then he realizes *maybe I should try to recover it* which he does....though the announcers make no mention of it
I do understand McKelvin returning it - in doing so, was trying to take time off to get the two minute warning out of the way -- and in doing that, it essentially takes a timeout away from the Patriots. Definitely a risk/reward decision - granted, the risk is much greater than the reward, but there was some logic in running it out of the endzone.
Yeah I remember in a similar situation in 2004 against the colts when david patten went out of bounds on a kickoff with like 2:02 to go while they were trying to kill clock and everyone was mad at him for it (Though in reality he had no real blocking due to the patriots being in onside recover mode and thus may have fumbled if he tried to return it further, a point missed on the talk shows)
He did the right thing bringing it out to get to the two minute warning but he shoulda had two hands on the ball as soon as the defender approached him not resist the tackle and gone down. What hurt about this game for Bills fans was that New England hasn't lost to Buffalo in over five years before this game.
It was a perfect kick that's make you a little unsure if you're past the goal line to take a knee. Trained to take it out if there was a chance it was outside the endzone, since it's a safety if they back stepped into the endzone. Obviously he didn't protect the football on the return which I'm guessing cause he was frazzled.
2:14:57 Proof that the Patriots were due for the Miami Miracle. As a fan who watches every game...they're in these situations so rarely but whenever they are, they never quite end it easily. Last-second plays have probably been their biggest constant weakness and they finally got burned.
I wish u left the berman 2 min show in I remember it was funny how he was saying bills should be losing and Brady is back but the bills didn’t get the memo
:44 the last time the bills won the afc east was 1995...the patriots have won 18 afc east crowns 10 conference championships and 5 superbowls in that span
1:58:48 watch the ref pick the ball up and place it back down almost a full yard ahead to give them a first down. just one of many biased calls that have favored new england over the years.
@1:58:47.57 you can also see the ref pull out a needle and deflate the ball. @1:58:47.58 The ref pulled out his cell phone and texted Tom Brady’s wife trying to blackmail her to sleep with him or else he is going travel in time to tell Colts linebacker D'Qwell Jackson to intercept the ball and start the deflategate scandal. @ 1:58:47.59 he pulled out his cell phone to call Roger Goodall. need to slow down the playback to see it though. The ref must be using performance enhancing drugs. So fast.
