I love this car 10 times more than the Mustang or Camaro. Just look at it at :26. You don't get any closer to a modern muscle car then the new Challenger. I have a Charger R/T with the 5.7 and that thing is a rocket. I can't imagine what the SRT feels like. The sound alone would make me put a down payment on one. Thanks for the ride Chris.
@chicagocarsdirect You guys really do some great reviews. Nothing like an in-depth review of every aspect of the vehicle. And I love the semi-truck launch shots.
425 horse power, nice beautiful car, love the color, like you said baby smooth, zr20 nice, love how it pops right open, love it, great, love to get into it and drive it home, nice car
Dream garage: Dodge Challenger SRT8 for when i am feeling bad, Mercedes SL600 for summer rides, Mercedes S65 for red carpet events, Range Rover SC for days in the countryside, and a Murcielago for showing off...
Out of the camaro, mustang and challenger this car is the slowest and biggest.. But, man this car is just badass .. I've been in one before.. And wow amazing interior lots of cool tech.
awesome! that should be fun! thanks for your videos...i know people use them because they are interested in these car, but i watch them for entertainment =]
The face he mades everytime he hits the throttle XD. I would do the same, this car is the best in the world,it has everything i want. cursed be my faith of beeing a regular everyday normal guy from Europe.
@joselikescars - These came out in '08 and I dont think that first year they produced a manual transmission. A friend of mine at work bought one last year and they did start making them with manuals for the '09 year and going forward but as a whole they produce way more automatics than manuals. I read that the planned convertible version of this car is no longer in the works but they do plan on beefing up that SRT8 engine from a 6.1L to a 6.4L w/ 525 hp for the next generation.
@joselikescars - Yes, Dodge does make a 6 speed manual for this one which would give you the best driving experience. Alot of people buy automatics though even in a car like this. I dont know why but they do. They're missing out.
@TeenNewsLive you have to be within a certain area of the car in order for it to stay started, i had a new 3.8 genises coupe with the remote push button start and if i got away from more than like 5 feet from the car it would shut off
@LakerKev nice i hope so, but i don't know about the 300c srt8, looks like they won't make any more of those because 2009 is the latest of the 300c srt8. They made the 2010 300c but i don't know if they will make the srt version, and my bro has one, i'ts on my vids
@LakerKev i know man because manual is more fun, i'm just asking because i always see automatics and no manuals. once i saw a manual one, but it was a 2010. but older years are manual too right?
@maxxbad17 Actually, I think your correct. We have a 2003 Mercedes E-Class, and it actually says Daimler Chrysler on the vehicle door model number info, it, so there you go! LOL :)
OMG this is butiful car. It looks fantastic!! It is bad thing that in europe is so expensive. Used E60 M5 is cheaper then this monster. I know my BMW handles better, goes better and is mor classy, but i would change all thet for that look, sound and filling. Grat car. And great review. You are really good at this. LP
@jagjagjag009 Yeah I heard Demark is very expensive. A 15k car in the U.S. would cost a Dannish 30k or so. Rediculous!!! If that were the U.S. it wouldn't last long, let alone be passed. But it seems we are creeping towards that direction. Thanks for the info.
ok i have officially fell in love with the challenger....i would definetly take the over a Camaro and NO questions would i take this over a mustang (ugh i hate mustangs)
For the amount of power in this car, along with luxury interior like you want, it would easily be in the $75,000+ price range for one. You have to look at the performance in this and find a Mercedes with the same and you'll see what I mean.
@jagjagjag009 I guess cause the huge taxation in Sweden and probably tarriff costs. I know a lot of European and Asian countries have huge taxes on cars. Especially cars that don't get good mileage.
American Car makers do their best to cut as many corners as possible to maximize profit. Then they try to tell Americans to Support them as Americans. It is really unfortunate that our companies represent what American cars are about. It would be nice to have a true Car maker here in America
