In this video I replace the N/S/F (left front) suspension lower arm, sometimes known as the wishbone, on a 2009 Fiat Panda 1.2 Dynamic. The vehicle presented with an intermittent suspension knock from the front and the owner supplied the parts which were aftermarket and not genuine Fiat parts.
Upon removal, I discovered that the rear rubber bush has failed and has completely separated. The arm is held in place with two 18mm spanner size bolts and a 13mm spanner size pinch bolt where the bottom ball joint passes through the hub carrier. The bolts are tightened to torque settings.
The Fiat 500, Ford Ka (second generation) and Chrysler Ypsilon share running gear with the Fiat Panda, however there may be differences based on individual vehicle specification - if in doubt, refer to relevant dealer or automotive professional for clarification.
