I loved his reaction, and I love the fact that he played TI’s “what you know” even more. Killer build. Going to do one of these style builds on my trunk soon.
Are y’all hiring. This the type of stuff I can see myself doing. Working with my hands till build something beautiful and unique. But it’s still knowledge and technique that’s goes into making this project not only look good but also makes it effective.
i actually watch this video from the start and didn't even skip it and when it at half of the video playing i was thinking to myself like damn they should show customer reactions to this install then you did lol! that feelings when someone was so happy of your hard work is PRICELESS! Great job guys!
Very nice, and very well done. If I were to critique anything in that build, I would say by having the subs and port firing to the rear, then sealing off the enclosure essentially from the front of the vehicle with the tightly fitting trim panels, there is a lot of output lost from the sub stage. But over all, very nicely done and super clean. I would like to see more videos like this one for sure guys.
WOW! Really liked the way you use a routing table to create interesting shapes. Particularly the front fascia which has the led stripes on the inside edge, really nice touch with the leds and how they are powered :)
Did I miss the part on how the alternator can hold that much power?? And if the added an extra battery, hi output alternator, capacitor or bypass the eld????
SwEEt setup guys.... I have 2 13" JL W3v3 on a JX1000x1. and the amp's under the seat as well and just blows people away how small but so powerful the amp is pushing 2, 13.5 W3's...... Next i'm going to get 2 more with 1 more amp as well..... So I'll have 4 13.5 W3 on 2 amp's good for 2k watts total... That's not to bad ....
nice work nice idea in the leds and magnets, but why the amps under the seats? under heater vents will heat up the amps, kids kicking them, drinks-coffee spills, rainy days. i had customers coming back because one of these things happen to there amps. but still very nice installed.
Man I wish you guys would've dropped a Link to where we can still Buy those ol' skool JL Audio W3's in the description! My friend had those same ones in a Bandpass Enclosure, an Alpine Amplifier, and like 4 gauge Wires. It was a Good, Clean install that I can remember. Oh yeah this fool was running like 12 gauge speaker wire too. Overkill? I think Not Lol
How does the bass get into the cabin with all that boarding up? Why are the subs moving so little? And why didn't you do a clip of what it sound like inside the car?
Could you guys do it wrapping tutorial on how to wrap I've tried many times to do it and I failed always getting wrinkles in the piece that I'm wrapping
Ight soo idk how I do it I've been doing it since I was 10 now I'm 18 cuz my dad does material n seats in cars in trunks n all electrical and basically the same thing those dudes do but better and cheaper cuz that tape isnt gonna last very long ik that for a fact and they didn't do a pop trunk Wich is very hard to get both of them level and at the same speed and knowing what position to put them in for what car but for the material just act like your wrapping a present on Christmas and thats how ma dad told me how to do it n sum times use the heat gun to shrink if its the right material for small gaps
I tried putting the tweeters from my polk dxi6501s' in the stock location. it sounded horrible. I ended up surface mounting them to the little black cover in the sail panel. dont really like the way it looks but it sounds great, and the distance from ear to tweet on either side resulted in a very minimal dta changes and they're pretty close to ear level
Thanks for this vid. My 2011 Accord uses the exact same OEM door speakers. I now have a better idea of how to upgrade the fronts. On a sidenote, have you guys done an infinite baffle rear deck subwoofer install yet?
