Unimogs cruising through like it was an Autobahn and then that guy in the red truck corks it all up. Love the 8x8s though, as long as maneuverability isnt an issue.
it's a prologue stage. I don't know if you know long-distance rallies but usually they have a prologue "show-off" loop stage to make it closer to the public, not everyone can travel 70 miles into a forest to see cars/trucks passing by
That would be kind of fun driving or riding along. But how many trucks do you have to watch go through a hole before you decide this is boring lets go home?
All of them want a good time for this qualifying, to get a good starting place in the race. And some of them think, they are better drivers, and don´t need to wait. ;-)
it is a truck. seeing the back it looks like it could be use to transport pigs or some other animals. most of this trucks can only be seen in Eastern Europe since there sometimes they don't really have roads and stuff gets all messy when it rains or it gets cold (you know, mud and snow)
I couldn't tell you exactly what kind of truck it is, but my suggestion if you're interested in these kinds of trucks, is to look up Tatra trucks. I believe they're of Russian or Czech origin. Look up "trials" here on you tube and you'll find plenty of videos featuring these monsters. If you want something smaller, but equally as capable(badass), look for a Unimog. Made by Mercedes(I believe) and available here in the States
Love the way that nasty tight right-hand exit ramp gets deeper and deeper with each truck. Also i think bringing a ballistic missile carriers to a truck rally is a bit steep no? :p
those 2 track officials on the right. It takes a hairy brass set to stand there. It looked a couple times like they were about to become a couple of puddles.
