@ADforKB The olympic with Yu Na Kim winning was nothing really special. I just don't think that competing in a high paced and pressured environment would be best for Sasha. When skating at her own pace in an environment suitable for Sasha, she did better than expected. She did have control when not pushed around. I just think that performing in shows other than just competing is better for her. She knows what the audience wants from her and she does it.
She was a gymnast until she was 7, then she switched to figure skating. So she has somewhat of gymnastics background, but no Olympic experience or anything. :)
