It was a massive pain to get that switch out, there was a lot of solder on the three terminals and I ended up flexing it more than was probably good for it haha, but it’s fixed. I would guess if you wrote them they miiiight sent a few board for a burnt switch. Though 2 of my 3 were toast. The MK3 had the plug for the lipo, but maybe not the switches ;)
Yea, desoldering is such a pain sometimes. I find adding more and higher quality solder to the lead helps to liquify the factory...poop solder. Also, a decent desoldering pump does better than a bulb. Desoldering wick is a godsend for multiple legs. Glad you got your stuff working.
I used a wick as well! Well, it was working. You know the part where I said I wish I’d had a better switch laying around… burned out the new one after a couple dozen mags. Sigh. Might be semi for the tournament :P
It’s pretty easy if you just add a really expensive cage motors and flywheels lol! I will say quality was awesome, got a patch and a sticker, MK3 shoots straighter than stock. Well we’ll worth the money. I had wired my stock cage to an XT60 to make it an easy swap awhile, so made it super easy.
Actually, any motor that doesn't have high torque will have runaway issues. Any amount of excess movement from the pusher motor will cause it to slip, leading to runaway
