i was born in 2011 but i remeber these songs being played in 2018 in my school and stuff and i thought they came out now tbh when i was 9 only i actually knew what youtbe and stuff were and when i was 11 tiktok but i hate it and seems ironic but i prefer ppl in 2018 and stuff and when u listen to these songs you can hear how idfferent and more nice it was then and it may seem ironic im saying this but im being honest
@@faznarushdhi4136its still crazy to me that we have reached the time where people from 2011 can type.. With kind regards, Tommie (not Tommy) from 2004 🫡
Since this got so many likes here are some songs from just 2010. These are the type of dance songs you would hear only once on the radio or at a club/party and then you never hear it again until almost a whole decade later. Halev - Another Night (Lasheen Remix) Medina - You and I (Svenstrup and Vandelboe Remix) Dj Project ft. Giulia - Regrete Roger Shah - Found Ellie Goulding - Starry Eyed (Max Vangeli and AN21 Remix) Deal vs. Molella - Shine (Molella Extended Mix) And much much MUCH more
You know what actually crazy, I literally heard all of these songs when I was a few months old in 2010-2011 and I remember hearing them in stores and stuff like that. The only problem is that I never knew or remember the names of the songs back then
Whoever clubbed during this time got MADDDD lucky. I was a kid so the most I could do was have pretend to be parties in my basement but they were still loads of fun.
@@SSBBMario301Same, but I was a preteen during that time so I also had to pretend bc I wasn't old enough to enter a disco.😂😂😂dancing like crazy around the house was the only thing available for me.
@@alexsama9055 sameee but it felt AMAZING! in fact it felt so amazing that I don’t even feel the need to go clubbing tbh cause the energy for me was that great. This was all in 2013 alone and I had friends, siblings, family outside the country etc.
when i was in kindergarten (2016 i think) the school played songs (that had no curse word ofc) in the hall during morning, they stopped when i was in 2nd grade now im in 7th
@@austin_bennett facts! I'm glad I grew up and even went to a few clubs (that I was definitely too young for) with this music instead of the music we hear rn
Fun fact -- Ester Dean (Cynthia Rose from the Pitch Perfect series) was one of the songwriters, and you can still hear her singing "he got that superbass" in the chorus.
I’m 24 and don’t miss the majority of these but will take them over the junk that iheart pushes today although I’d rather listen to indie rock or country anyway
@@ZooomieMoth Trust me boo this generation are so sensitive and have complicated mentality that won't make them just enjoy the music and mind the artist business
@@notisity388she meant “I turned 21 that year” English may not be her first language French is mine and I make mistakes like this often. No one would let a 7 year old in the club. Use you common sense
I literally thought he was gonna forget Super Bass, then he released it at the very tail end, I was sooo Washed Away with Nostalgia 💗😩😭😭 that song was my entire Childhood in 3minutes. ✨🥹
These songs were genuinely good. Even if you don't like them, you can appreciate that the quality of these records are far more memorable than anything we've had in the past 5 years. It's actually insane.
Nothing beats the 80s, but the early 2010s were definitely the last years of good stuff. Songs now are popular for like a week and then everyone forgets about it, whereas we still remember the songs from back then word for word.
Man, I feel old, who remembers the radio station 92.3 now FM. that was my favorite radio station at the time. they used to have commercial free Mondays. I would hear these songs all day every day
@@Arvak777 I guess you're a centennial but those who were born after 2006. For that reason, that's your point of view. But people like me, born in the late 90s, really enjoyed those tunes.
Listening to these bangers while pregaming at someone’s apartment and then hearing them again at NYC bars on a Friday/Saturday night in 2010/2011. God i miss this era!!
At that time i was 7 years old my mother was alive. We were all together, my 2 brothers. Now i live alone with no friends, my father addicted to alcohol. And that s just life we live i think. Just miss those days and my mother so much.
