Thanks works good still. Couple glitches once and a while but all electronics seem to have issues. Even my $500 phone doesn't work flawlessly like it should.

There is scosche adapter for $50 that keeps all functions working.

I don't have much complaints with mine. One and great while it will ding like the door is open when I start up and I have to engage the turn signal to stop it or restart. But rarely does that happen. Overall i like it alot. It has I nice factory look to it meaning it doesn't look out of place. I have a video of dash kit I will post.

Ran my battery down when I added the after market scosche and Metra. I couldn't figure out why it kept doing it either. So I took it out

KorgM3 Kronos on my model I couldn't but on the newer Android versions that are out now they say they can. most advertise in there ads if it supports split screen.

I did install this. It's a difficult install it involves shaving aftermarket radio bezel due to Android radio being bigger. There is links to what I bought if you read through a couple of the comments.

Thanks for the reply, where did you learn what to do and the steps to do it? Were you using some kind of guide or walk through you found somewhere?

I have installed a lot of stereos since I was a kid. So I have a lot of practice but it was still difficult. The opening has to be cut and the wires have to stuffed very tight to make fit properly or the head unit wont push all the way in. I had to cut and glue various things to make it work. It would suggest if don't have fabrication skills that you let a professional install it for you.

you can get 3g service for the radio itself if you have no wifi hot spot.

C.L.S. Allinone ...So can you activate the radio to get service the same way you can a cell phone? Like activate it through MetroPCS or something since they have unlimited data... And it will have a monthly bill???

Thanks, I have been looking into buying one but trying to see if I should go this route or get a Pioneer double din as far as long term reliability and functionality.

I have had mine for about a year with no issues. make sure to get one with specs equal to that link or better. they sell models that have crappy touchscreens and low memory that are cheaper you don't want those. I had the pioneer app radio double din and returned because I personally thought it was a piece of crap. The android radio I have now is not even a brand name and I think it is far better than any radio they sell in best buy they don't even come close to the same functionality. Most of your brand name radios are made in china anyway. Make sure to check the stereo dimensions to ensure it will fit properly before buying. I have installed two of them and had to modify the double din opening by cutting it 1/8 " due to them being slightly larger.

Yeah I noticed they said they were a little larger and needed to modify the trim a little. And I will make sure I get Android 4.4. Thanks for the feedback appreciate it.

On your head unit do you have the RCA jacks on the back for the subwoofer and front and back speakers etc?

The quality of the stock nav system is probably a little better. But the functionality of an android stereo is way better. To get everything you need to make android stereo work you are looking around $400 ish.

C.L.S. Allinone why would you think the factory navi system is better if the android performers better? Also the price is miles apart the android is 1,500 dollars cheaper. That is a major difference. Where can we order the android system.

If you have installed radios before you might be able to get through it. The android radios are bigger dimensions than a reg double din so it requires trimming opening about 1/8 all the way around. I will be releasing an install video in a couple weeks hopefully.

+Richard M It was a pretty difficult install a camera would have just been in my way. Not much room in Camaro's. The main difference is the android stereos are slightly bigger dimensions so shaving/cutting/modifying is involved to make it work. So I was learning myself on this install. If I install another Android stereo I will definitely film it now that I know how.

+Tommy Whitaker My Android Headunit is very similar to his, and yes.they are very reliable units. Mine is in a 99 Z28 though. Had mine for a year.

+clsallinone never mind lm an idiot, I looked at your other vids, from this one it looked like four individual tail lights when I saw one of your car in daylight.....yep way wrong! I've never seen a 2014/15 other than a z28 with the early style head unit in it....that's just weird to me.
