Richard Heard We lost our two starting inside linebackers who were gonna be our signal callers and they were replaced with freshman. We had no chance when they went down and we also lost Labryan Ray who was gonna be a key pass rusher last year. Richard Heard We didn’t have the personnel last year to be successful. Charlie strongs a decent coach but he still never had a winning season at Texas and gave up 40 regularly to good offenses. If we struggle this year it’s a different story because we have a better defense coming back

Alabama is better than Florida in all but one category, which is Heisman Winners. Bama has 2, Florida with 3. Bama has more BCS Championships than Florida as well a better overall record, draft picks, bowl games and SEC Titles. Urban's a great coach, but Florida ain't the best the SEC has.

More of a rivalry in the 90s as they kept us from potentially winning a 2nd NC during that decade. Saban lost to Florida once in his second year and has spanked them every game since. 7 wins in a row over Florida, def not a rivalry…. UGA now thinks we’re they’re rival lol. Ok, we beat them 7 in a row as well until our team was depleted yet still barely lost in the ‘21 NC game.
I know that the 2009 SEC Title Game was the start of the winning streak but this game was the end of the Urban Meyer Era in Gainesville. The loss showed that Bama had passed Florida not just in talent depth but also in coaching and scheme. Florida tanked the rest of the season with embarrassing loses versus Mississippi State, LSU and South Carolina. Definitely a humbling loss for the Gators.
According to Meyer, it wasn't this loss to Alabama that got his attention, or the loss to Alabama the year before....it was watching Alabama win the national championship in 2012.
I'm an Auburn fan who grew up in the 90's...so I love seeing anyone beating the hell out of flordia. Especially urban meyers. We won the BCS national championship that year but I am so thrilled to see you guys kick ass. Beat OK and BEAT CLEM in 2018/19!

Wouldn't say THE most talented but arguably the most. This season was a disappointment because this was basically an upgraded 2009 team. ONLY thing missing was a Rolando McClain or Cody. This 2010 team could beat anybody for sure. I could see the writing on the wall with the Duke game and how easily they moved the ball up and down the field.
Chuck Norris that is realistic LSU and UGA lost a lot, Auburn is still young on offense and lost their defensive front, Bama defense isn’t dominate like it use to be and their offense will probably revert back to run heavy, and Texas A&M is a real threat in the west, Florida has the easiest round to the playoff all we have to do is beat 3 teams UK UGA AND LSU usc is an honorable mention
