Beautiful rendition of a great song. Love all these soloists-Andrea ,Eva, Alba A, Alba E and others who front up a fantastic band . And a HUGE shout out to Josep Traver who is the best jazz guitarist I have come across in over 70 years of listening to this greatest genre of music Thank you Joan for giving me absolute hours and hours of top class entertainment. Like to hear more of Elsa A...what a beautiful tone this young lady produces from her trumpet. Keep the music playing SAJB Magnificent
Kudos to Mr. Chamorro. What you are doing for music and the new generations is invaluable in this age where the lack of talent invades the world with noise and disrespect.
So many thanks to Joan, for giving these kids ,what is undoubtably the finest musical direction, that anyone could ever have received, anywhere in the universe ! Lets all pray they keep it up for life !! How about a couple Louis Jordan tunes ? "Don't Let the Sun Catch You Cryin" or the Cindy Walker classic "You Don't Know Me" Thanks so much to all of you !!!
What makes it more incredible is her youth. She has an uncanny emotional presentation in everything she does. Most unusual for a young talent and TALENT is not a strong enough word for this young lady.
@@williamsimmons152 True! She was (almost?) 16 years then. 10 years later, she's a grown-up international star of jazz, and still you will find her in the local jazz festivals coming up!
MIRAR AL MENOS UN VIDEO DE SU MAJESTAD ANDREA MOTIS, AHORA SE HA CONVERTIDO EN MI DESAYUNO, MI ORACION DE MEDIO DIA, Y MI PASTILLITA PARA DORMIR AGUSTO. SALUDOS DE LOS ANGELES CA.EL SENOR CHAMORRO DESCUBRIO UN GRAN TESORO SIN SER ARQUEOLOGO.
Just can't get enough of this group. Tight hip professional very inventive and a sax section par excellance. (still remember these two girls as little school kids eva was always intent on biting her nails, what a transformation, wow!) I guess thinking of them as slick professionals belies the fact that they are still young school kids. second WOW
Excepcional trabajo, Andrea y Eva son adorables, el quinteto toca como los dioses (y diosas), gracias Sr. Chamorro y sus colegas por ayudarnos a vivir mejor
When Joan Chamorro (and his assistants) got this thing going it attracted more and more of the talented people. It's a natural development; talent attracts more talent.

I like the way she manipulates her tongue to create a stunning version of the song. The bass is incredibly terrific , it is the pleasing sound of the bass that I want in any song. Encore , encore , encore !
When song starts cool but then bang what class like big band music with five musicians great arrangement only seen this video 10 times already going to play 10 more times enjoy all
Wow. I grew up with Mamas & Papas version (which I love). I was going to complement you on the soft jazzy vocals. I was startled when the wind instruments kicked in but I stayed with it and was pleasantly surprised. Thanks. Excellent.
That is as good, if not better, than any rendition I have ever heard of that song. The talent is incredible, the voice is super and the girls are precious. I can listen to that and watch it over and over. Great job, young people.
@@hulado I agree. The band swings instrumentally, but the vocal lacks the depth this song requires. With her talent though, she will probably acquire it as she matures. Still, pretty nice.
@Tromboner C True - a great job! Those criticising her should look in the mirror and remember what they did around their 16th birthdays. Was it anything like "entertain at a state gala"?
@@paulsj9245 Yes, it's good to be reminded of the bigger picture. However, observations, subjective though they may be, are not necessarily criticism. But even if they were, criticism has its place in all aspects of life, and this includes areas of artistic endeavor. The impact of such observations, critical or otherwise, is not always positive but I would hate to think where the arts would be without honest feedback.
