Well said Barry,ime the very proud owner of a 2010 portfolio 5l ...after3 yrs of ownership i am still in love with this beautiful piece of engineering, I smile every time I drive it, a fabulous machine,the likes ,sadly wont be produced again! Sooo if the suns 37:37 shining, ime in my jaaag,if not in my much loved daily driver...a Freelander 2😊😊

I've grown accustomed to the look of the XJS, but I get where you're coming from! I wonder how amused you'd be with the look of the new Jaguar saloon's ? I'm certainly not.

The XJS gets better with age . Anyway xk8 and db7 are based on the XJS platform ,and no one jag has been in production as long. My hat off to you Malcolm Sayer.

I went and bought a 2014 XK Portfolio , Italian Racing Red , Blond leather all because of Barry ! He’s a Menace. Life was great till his video opinions came out ! I would be £35,000 better off ! If it wasn’t for Bazza ! 😊🤣😭😂

What about the cost to the environment making all the EV’s that no one wants to buy, they cost to much , don’t go far on a charge , battery life is crap. Only good for shopping and taking kids to school. We should be developing a cleaner fuel, I know that Porsche are doing’s this and the engine can be upgraded to use the new much cleaner fuel

£120,000 for a Taycan. Why not buy 2nd hand Jag XK or F Type for £25,000 and stick £10,000 aside? Will this EV madness ever end. Nice XK and rocking the McQueen themed attire. Great video. 🙂

Check out the macmaster. He paid £120’000 for a taycan and after 2 years it was worth £40,000. That’s 800ppw depreciation, and Porsche refused to buy it back!

I would love one but I need a fuel tanker following me so I will stick with my 3.0 xf diesel 2010 67,000 miles tyres are cheaper, insurance is cheaper .Any way with in 6 months the country will introduce £ 1 per mile everyone who owns a car will have to have a little black box wired into your electrics dealers wont be able to give them away next year .Very nice sports car will only be suitable for car collector or museum.

I absolutely admit. Last weekend I've been sitting in a end-2012 convertible and could not stop smiling. Long story short: next saturday I will pick up MY Jag not even having driven a Jag one single meter. I MUST have it. Regards from Germany from a guy never having bought a car not cominig from VW/Audi before ...

2010 5.0L XKR has the metal coolant pipes - but weak timing chain guides. So get those guides changed and throw on a new timing chain and get a revised new water pump and your golden!!!

Hi Barrie, the reason it sounds so good is it has an aftermarket milltek exhaust, since purchasing the water pump exploded and it needed a gearbox service. If anyone is buying one of these change the water pump immediately.

I see your point but you didn’t mention the environment benefits of the EV your just old school don’t like change but it’s got to be done for the sake of future generations we are just lucky we’ve had these cars but the end is inevitable Point being what you’re missing is there not clean chucking out fumes out the back as you said just so you can hear the noise
