People buy Toyota trucks not for the bells and whistles, but for craftsmanship and longevity. They age and value better than all of its rival pick ups.
I have a 2010 Tundra, Double Cab, Long Bed, 4x4 and I am very pleased. When I buy a truck, I don't want small, I want decent size to do some work with. This guy gave bad review. His own opinion. I tell him to go back to his Chevy Volt, sounds like that is what he drives.
Longest Lasting Most Dependable Trucks on the road, Tundra. There are American Statistics to prove this. You Chevy fans can bite it, and take your pickup in to have the check engine light checked out. North Dakota is Tundra workhorse proud.
Another review ..that's NOT a review. REAL pickup truck buyers a truck that is first and foremost built like a tank and still runs like new after paying for it for 3,4,5 years! When I look at a vehicle or watch a review I dont need some clowns reference to star wars or salvaged parts from a buick. C'mon man.. pull this pathetic bunch of stammering nonsense and apologize. The 2010 Tundra is built to last , built in Texas , is extremely comfortable on long hauls , has a bulletproof trans, front and rear differential & transfer case in all configs . The 5.7l I force v8 has massive horsepower..add the supercharged version and it will leave the FORD Rapturd looking for a place to cry in private! One more thing...when your done paying for your Tundra ...it will still be worth a lot more than any of the other big 3 ,Ford gm ,dodge. Residual value is the icing on the cake ! For those that drive a pickup just because you think it looks cool or like the intimidation factor a full size pickup offers just draw straws. But if you want to get what your paying for ,have it last and hold value after 125-150k + on the clock ...get yourself the Tundra ....yea it's that good !
I actually enjoyed the salvaged wood from Buick bit. everything else aside, I agree with you. not much of a helpful review. some MPG comparisons but that's about it. would've loved to hear more about the new 4.6 aluminum engine instead of the tried and true cast iron 4.7 I would probably advice those buying a used one to consider the 09 for that reason alone. still, love the look of the Tundra and we all know they set the bar on maintenance and reliability. the only other truck I would even consider would be Ford's F150. Ford won the interior battle (I think the seats are taken directly from Land Rover and IMO there's no better interior than the LR4, too bad that engine is crap), has good enough looks, and fair reliability.
