WOW! These boats are truly spectacular, and watching them race on the historic Detroit River course is such a thrill. I saw Chip Hanauer beat Dave Villwock for the Gold Cup here in 1999 and it was the most thrilling thing I've ever witnessed The emotions are at a high level all day long at these races. Too bad dull, boring nascar has all the money and sponsors. Go figure.
