In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 BMW 550i Gran Turismo xDrive. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this vehicle while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of the 550i GT designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

My mom has this car and when she first got it, I wasn't to fond of the look but it definately grew on me. Driving behind it or in front of it, this car looks pretty bold and intimidating. I LOVE it. Occationally when I'm lucky, I get to take it for a spin. I has LOTS of power and its really fast!!! Super fun on highways!! Overall its a great car but I'm more into dodge chargers. Hopefully one day when I get one, me and my mom can put them to the test!

NAlder Because their not as desirable as a normal 3 series. And their forgotten because for the same price you can get a more practical and desirable X3.

There are actually 3 ways to open the trunk. You can also open it by the keyfob.

Beautiful 550 GT. I was a little shocked at the way they looked when they first came out.. But i loved it after i got to drive one. They are super fast for being such a big car, sound great to.

BMW North America President Jim O'Donnell was quoted as saying the 5 Series GT was a "mistake." Just read that recently in BMW Car Club of America magazine (Roundel)

@Volume1216 you are always welcome, it's hard to tell the difference between most Audi and BMW interior from their 98-2010 models, they all seem to have the same dashboard. Atleast Audi made some chanes with their new a8

@upiluften True, all cars have some plastic. What I meant to say was that most cars nowadays are ALL-plastic and not much metal like in pre-1980 cars, which in my opinion shows better craftsmanship from the car manufacturers.

THE CAR IS HOT!!! it drives excellent! i am very impressed with the interior and the unique styling just like my x6! DONT SLEEP ON THIS CAR LIKE EVERYONE DID ON THE X6! AND NOW EVERYONE LIKES AND WANTS A X6! YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS CAR ON THE ROAD AND IN PERSON!

my friend and i had an argument today about this car. i said this has a shape of a prius but is not similar in design and he said that's why its an ugly car, but i said that i like it and that its not the SAME as the prius in design and olbviously not the same in performace and ride quality. he still didn't like it. but funny how many say they hate it but its got more than 100LIKES!

@JednaBelda from my own experience models before 2004, when you press unlock key once it will unclock drivers side only and on second it will open all doors. Not sure about new ones...

@SubieSean Plastic looks cheaper than carpet. ALso most cars have the back of their rear seats carpeted and it has worked well over years. Also take notice that people buying a 5 series will rarely load their car's trunk with dirty stuff.

I actually grew to really love the redesigned interior of the 5 series, although the exterior not so much. The previous 5 series looks like a golf cart on the inside. I wonder if the 5 series still has the problem with the high pressure fuel pump? Made me completely change my mind to LEXUS for my next vehicle. Nothing reliable about these vehicles.

damn this is the 5 series Goofy T, at first when i looked at the clip i thought it was the new 1-series, it looks almost exactly identical from the front to me.
