@@HL_Eminence zune was awesome. Had to be there. Just like beta max and HDDVD. Superior. And nobody cares.

@@tiporari Betamax was very, very marginally better picture quality at a much higher cost and shorter play/record length. HDDVD was significantly smaller capacity discs leading to many contemporary films being too long to fit on a single disc. Add the lack of special features and BD-J and BD-Live equivalents and you're looking at inferior tech at a [pre-collapse] similar price tag. The Zune was just a mess: awful software, awful support, and tons of bugs and errors. Add in the hilarious amount of expensive and proprietary accessories and again... inferior product vs the competition. Apart from the $15/month subscription service [PACKED with WMDRM and license syncing bugs] there was nothing better about the Zune.

I liked my zune...for the three months it worked.

@@tim3172 I don’t think the zunes software was any worse than the iPod. Hell on the computer software it would populate each track whenever you added anything to the dedicated folder you had set up. So if you’re downloading stuff legally or illegally it would just start popping up in the software and be ready to sync to your device. Much more seamless then fucking iTunes.

Those are always illuminated. They turn on the day a BMW turns 5 years old. It's to constantly remind you it's no longer under warranty.

Mine did only have a windscreen wiper relay issue once, never any other major thing, and never a check engine light, and its 27 years old 😄😄

Bougie means pretentious or ostentatious, a show of expensive taste, without the cash. The truly rich drive Range Rovers or the pricier Porsche Cayemne varieties if they're into performance cars. If they're rich and a bit silly they own the Bentley, Lambo, or Rolls Royce SUVs. On a daily basis they probably drive, or are driven in, a large sedan.

2001 X5 owner here and this couldn’t be more true, my old mechanic lowered my bad window all the way down and when I asked him to bring the pane up the left the motor disconnected “so I wouldn’t have to deal with it” even though it was fine up to halfway,,, Also my rear right door only opens from the inside and I put the child lock accidentally once so now it’s a 3door SUV 😂

@Martin rationality doesn't even enter into it. I spent 2 grand on a gearbox rebuild on an E39 535i that only cost me 600 quid a couple of years before. Usually BMWs will give you one big bill then settle down and prove quite reliable...

@@richardharrold9736 yep, just spent $6k over the last 12 months on mine. Hoping that I don’t have to see the shop for a few years now. I love it though, no other SUV drives this well and has as much room for loading up the family and going to the lake for a few weeks.

@@dylanriley2707 These diesels are pains in the ass though. Lots of people don't take care of the Diesel emission systems on them, and end up with massive repair bills.

@@Marchautowerks bmw, the steady glow of the check engine light for various things, for the entire life of the vehicle.

I have a two-door Mitsubishi which is exactly like this. Literally, exactly this. 0-60 in no time flat. Leather and the height of tech for 2011. Goes through mud, snow, anything. Never had any issues with the car but every consumable part is rare and expensive. Nobody knows what this car is has ever worked on one before. I'm trading it in for a Toyota hybrid next week.

yeah BMW diesels are pretty reliable compared to the petrol ones that crack blocks and blow headgaskets every day

I've never owned a car that didn't have the check engine light on. I worry everytime I get in someone else's car and it's not on, it just doesn't seem right.
