My Dad had one of these. 2011 Regal CXL in Quicksilver. I remember really liking it, the way it drove and how it rode. It was really comfortable. Unfortunately after he passed, we had to sell it due to his estate needing to be sold since he did not have a will, and the car went with it. I wish I could have kept it, not only because it was nice, but I had so many memories in that car with him.
This car is great. Have had it for ten years. For trips it’s wonderful have gotten well over 38mpg on the road. On my last trip to Atlanta was on 20 between Al and Ga. The traffic was stacked up. No one was in the left lane. There were six 18 wheelers all blocking the flow. After about 5 miles going 50 in a 70 and knowing you can go over the limit to pass ....I thought ok Girl let’s do it. This ten year old car got up to 120 mph ! Passed all six got back over slowed to the appropriate speed limit and drove all the was in to Atalanta with no traffic until approaching my exit. Bottom line great car if you can find one. The only thing that has me wanting a different car is the back seat. My Dog is just too big for entry. Oh He can get in there but is apprehensive and really does have a hard time. Looking for a Durango Seven seat spilt with the optional Dog crate for My Dog. So salesmen find me one. Don’t need the Hellcat but do like the intake on the hood. And want 4 wheel drive. Black on Black or red interior. As for the Regal .. she’s a keeper. And has earned some nice rims for her Birthday. .....lc
GREAT Video :) What got me to subscribe to your channel was a Buick Park Avenue but then i was away from RU-vid for a little while and i come back to RU-vid and what do i see on here a review on the New Buick Regal. Great job on the video on how you make it flow along so easily and not make it boring :)
Buick have really started making some great cars in the last few years. I would love to have a new Buick and most likely will buy one next time I buy a new car. Great video as always, you do a great job with these.
I'll try to get a video on the Vauxhall Insignia that this Buick Regal was based on when I go to the UK in a few days, but for now great video as always, Kyle!
In my opinion, the videos showcasing the newer 2010/2011 cars are better than the videos showcasing older cars. It lets new car buyers see all of the different types of features the vehicle has.
Hints of the 1949 Buick Sedanette are in the rounded details, as well as the shape of the rear windows, and the waterfall grill. But the air conditioner, heated seats, leather upholstery, and power accessories are above whatever was available in 1949.
What the hell are you talking about? This is german car Opel Insignia, designed and built in germany, it has nothing to do with buick and have no any resemblance to any buick, it just has the name and badge to apeal to american market, because muricans dont trust european cars. Yet you dumb enough to like european car if it has american name on it lol
Now that is one awesome buick!! I hope they come out with a V6 though. they've been selling this in asia of a year or so now, finally in north america!!
Very good Kyle. Thank you. Looking forward to more of the GM products in the future past and present. I learned more about this car than I already knew.
Nice looking Buick but I sure hope that there is a V6 engine available. The 4 cylinder sounds like a Cobalt at start up. Count on Kyle to bring the newest cars the quickest.
lol, when you demonstrate the radios in your videos, it seems like there is always a Lady GaGa song playing on one of the stations. I like the interior, looks like a really nice car.
They moved the door lock button for the back door from the front (near the B pillar) to the back. If you have ever had a car without power locks, this seems wierd. On cars without power locks, the only way to unlock the back door is to reach the button from the front area. When the car gets old, if the power locks break, or when the battery dies, how will you unlock the back doors?
I hate 4cyl engines, v6s are so much smoother and ofc more powerful, I wish they made more small v6s, like the Buick centurys had those 2.8L V6s those things were great, both fairly powerful, efficient and quiet.
@@dmoore215 2.4 engines are known for problems, not much power and certain interior features just feel like cheap gm. I own one and yes their nice cars but you can find ones with nicer interiors and better more reliable engines than the regal
I bought an Opel Insignia 2010 in perfect fine condition 4 months ago, depends on how the car was maintained. didn't regret my decision one sec. has a 2.0 diesel engine btw.
@companyman007 here is a information about Mercedes models. 2000 parts are different in a single Mercedes made in EU and USA. That goes for the same models. And these are 2 different brands like VW and AUDI. So i am wondering how does it drive, more comfortable, more sporty, ect.
the transmission on the China 2009- the 2011-present Buick Regal Transmission 6-speed GM Hydra-Matic automatic (2.4 L) 6-speed Aisin AF40 automatic (2.0 L turbo) 6-speed manual (2.0 L turbo)
Yes! Timing chain and tensioner. Have to get the whole kit, gaskets, luckily not the water pump as well, Regals of this year had a lotta problems with that issue. Cost in Texas, 1500.00
So does this mean that you are now some type of partner with this car dealer aswell??? If you are, will there be more GM cars such as this Buick (excellent video of course) on your website?
I know this video is kind of old and nobody might not see this, but I’m getting a used one and I was wondering if I’d be able to install a CarPlay radio? Or is it too old to do that?
Does the stock stereo system in this vehicle have radio station preset buttons? I know, stupid question but every video I've seen uses that oldschool tuning dial and I don't see how presets could be integrated from what I've seen so far...
I personally do not like this car. Mainly because of style, it does in fact have a lot of nice features but I would like to see Buick bring back the old Regal, the 1987 GNX style to be specific. I would definitely buy one of these cars if it were the style 'G' bodies like they were back in the late 80's. Who knows, maybe one day!
@larlar752000 Push start buttons are actually more reliable than normal starters, because, the principle is the same, but there are no moving parts. :P
@saabkyle04 You honestly think push button start is stupid, it's so convient because you wont have to fumble for your keys all you have to do is have the keys on you. If your key breaks that's why they give you two. I personally love it but that's my opinion it's ok if you don't agree with what I'm saying
@IchHabeWasIhrWollt it is the Opel Insignia but with a Buick badge on it because Americans cannot come up with something creative and nice. All they did was brought it over and slapped Buick on it
Sorry GM, but the that grill does not fit the car. The original Insignia looks way better. I glad to see European cars in America, now I know what to buy after I moved to Canada. Go Opel and Buick! BTW Nice video, can't wait for the test drive video!
@companyman007 well other cars from European car companies (Mercedes, BMW, AUDI, ect.) are completely different than their American models. The parts aren't the same.
