2011 Chevrolet Traverse first drive review: the biggest Chevy crossover of them all 

My mom had one, and its an amazing car

@ftwelsh I compared it to the Flex because both cars are of the same Generation....the Explorer and Durango are the new cars on the block. But given a choice my favorite of the bunch is the Durango. I like the combo of American toughness with European inspired design.

@yellowcow13 nice argument, but i feel that the flex just looks too much like a giant toaster/bus to me to actually own.

the turning circle on the bridge was kinda pointless...the bridge appeared to be on the narrow side, and lets not forget that is a LARGE crossover....and i doubt he wanted to run over who/what is holding the camera

Thanks for the Review Roman. Doesn't the Traverse also go directly against the Ford Explorer as well now that the new Explorer is no longer a body on frame SUV? And that gas milage you got 16 I am sure there were a lot of times that the SUV was sitting and running right? And how many times did you punch it trying to feel how much pwr? I am very surprises seeing that is the engine in the Camaro that gets almost 30 MPG HWY. Was your car AWD ROMAN cause that makes a difference. 16/23 city/HWY

@romanmicagearguy what you point out about the American-European combo it's the best thing of the Durango and the Grand Cherokee. And also, for my taste, they take the edge over the Explorer as they remain being a true SUV. The explorer has gone very soft and the others has been already a softy in the segment

And what about the new Durango. It's more and SUV so it can haul, carry people and perhaps with more "fun" than this one.. I'll go with that one over the 3 (flex, higlander and traverse)
