2011 Dodge Grand Caravan Crew Start Up, Engine, Test Drive and In Depth Review 

Exactly 9 years after this video was made this is still one of my favorite SK04 videos!

I really like the styling of this generation Chrysler vans, I also like how all the seats fold into the floor.

Kyle, this is by far your best review ever, I think. Very thorough, and great driving clips, especially the night ones. You've definitely bettered your reviewing skills as well.

This is an absolutely wonderful review. My wife and I don't believe in having a car payment, not with having a growing family anyways, so we look at vehicles about 10yrs old. We were in the market for a 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan Crew with the exact same trim style that this one has, so this *VERY* in depth review was a fantastic selling point for us. Honestly, this video is what sold us on the van. Thank you so much! I wish all vehicle reviews were done this way.

Your incredible video made me buy this van (crew), and I SO LOVE IT! Might I add, as the owner of a Mitsubishi Lancer, and Audi A4, this van is my favorite of all of them. I have ZERO fatigue on 4 hour drives. Now the drive is only a matter of listening to my audible books on the neat mp3 radio and getting out the other side all fresh and ready for the day. Dodge really should get an award for this van

One thing that I didn't see you mention that is easily overlooked, but can be very important is the spare tire and it's location.

I just bought this caravan and i really love it, when you drive it, you feel like you are driving a sport car. It runs really quick.

Eleven years later and its in my recommended! I will never buy this car, but I enjoyed every minute.

This is the absolute coolest van ever. The outside reminds me of my moms old Caravan from way back in the day.

This is the car that I'll be driving when on holiday (vacation) in Orlando with my family in tow...with the sheer amount of gadgets, I'm looking forward to driving this monster for the 2 weeks let alone the holiday! (our cars in the UK are much smaller than US cars and no gadgets)

Great video, as always. I love the stow-n-go, it is so practical. My brother in law and I use the heck out his Dodge Caravan. I wonder if the new models come with AWD? That would be great for our Michigan winters. This new model seems so much better than the last one. Thanks for the review.

drove one of this minivans from Dallas, TX to Boston Ma. back and forth, not a single problem. I really liked it, very comfortable.

Very nice car. I have 2011 grand caravan with over 25000 km now, still no problem at all. Very reliable.

My grand father has a 2014 sxt blacktop and he loves it bright white exterior the same interior just does not have a super console it has stow n go seating one up from the cvp/avp depends on the state

Chrysler minivans are the best. I have a 1997 Plymouth Voyager that's been modded with an SRT4 twin turbo, auto leveling bi-xenons, 5000w rms sound system, 4 wheel disc w/ Brembo+Akebono combo. Currently working on retrofitting active suspension, wet shot N20, and designing a system where the top part of my tailgate would raise and act as a spoiler (like in Bugattis) whenever I exceed 60 mph. Mechanical Engineering + older cars = deadly combo!

This van would be perfect for my family! I have 3 siblings and we'd all have lots of room. The car we have right now is a seven-seater, and I am literally too big for the third row of seats now. Only problem with trying to get a Dodge Grand Caravan is they're a little more expensive and there are hardly any Caravan's in Germany where we live!

Fantastic review Kyle. These new Chrysler vans are by far my favorite on the market, they're so nice. That new Pentastar V6 is a huge step for Chrysler I think. I drove a 200 Limited with that engine and I was so impressed with it. Unbelievably smooth and it makes power everywhere, not to mention it's very quiet but it has a nice note when you rev it! It should be a great engine. I loved the 200 too, very impressive mid size sedan and it drove beautifully. Now I need to drive this and the 300C!

My dads a taxi driver and he drives, I believe, the 2008 model. 189,000+ miles on that thing and it's fine.

Dodge engineers are among the most innovative and motivated on the market. It's the way it should be, but why other car makers don't care about this? Thumbs up Dodge.

As someone who use to drive a 2004 Honda Odyssey, I like it.

Enjoyed that. I have driven three of the previous generation as hire vehicles before now, doing around 10,000 miles in all of them. This looks a vast improvement, and I was nervous should I have to hire one of this generation, as I thought that the older model could not be beat! Thanks for sharing.

Incredible review, and I've watched many reviews for all the minivans.

We have a base 2010 Town and Country that I've had a fair bit of drive time in. Been a good car to us since we bought it new, but she doesn't like getting on the freeway with the 3.3. But I'll admit, this looks a great deal nicer on the inside than ours could ever hope for. The face-lift was a good call, but I think it's overstayed its welcome. Surprising they're still selling this exact van 8 years later

wow that is an amazing caravan I just had to show my mom how nicely equiped this van was; this is a great family trip van for a family of 6. You can even have a smaller family and put in 2 or 3 more passengers to take them for a ride haha. This is a great shopping van for moms who are exclusive shopping since u got all that space there. Great job kyle and great job with yer friends demonstrating the dvd view. Great job Dodge u did a fantastic work with the new van :-)

Nice Job Kyle! How was the ride and handling? I have to say you get so much more with a mini van today and now almost 300HP? This is where Stop/Start Technology would improve the city MPG to bad they don't offer it. And that Top Glove Box would make a great Cooler to keep your drinks cold.

I like that minivan because we had one for 4 years but he switch to 2011 Nissan Quest because our Dodge Grand Caravan had broke down

me and my fam during the weekend of april 12-14 drove from Chicago to Memphis for our cousin graduation and we had theses as a rental but it was the eco e85 edition I think. Nice van actually. it was smooth, quiet, very spacious, fast comfortable. I was impressed. Def wouldn't buy one but It was a fantastic rental

This van is a total value monster. Now that it has updated features and a new engine I hardly see the point in buying a much more expensive Honda Odessey or Toyota Sienna, which dropped in quality recently.

for 2011 Chrysler has really stepped their game up for all their Vehicles over all their Marques (Chrysler,Dodge,Jeep),their interiors are awesome,hopefully the quality of the vehicles themselves are also up.

We had a 2016 Chrysler town and country as a rental and it had the 6.5 uconnect and it had like a chestnut brown leather with black accents

Idk why but these are still like brand new, even the 2008 ones. That probably made them hold their value. But they should have kept the old traditional column shifter on these.

Nice review it helped a lot and we are planning to buy a new van soon because are 2001 ford Windstar is kind of getting old. I have to show this to my dad. I WISH THE GRAND CARAVAN HAD AWD!!! My dad wants a Sienna becaue of AWD but it is way more expensive and he sees my argument but we live in Wisconsin and roads are really bad in winter so ya. But Thank You so much this review might just change my dad's mind
