My setup is cat delete-mid pipe- slip on bodis exhaust- k&n air filter, and oil filter. Using with stock ECU, NO FLASHING- NO PC5. no F1 codes. i ride with this modification almost 1 year, sounds completily different, and i feel more power. :) Bike is L3 GSXR 600
Had MANY Gixxers and different sized ones and ALWAYS wanted 11’-current body style. Finally got a 600 yesterday. It needs some Love but it already came with an M4 w/ no silencer. But the factory cat and servo still there. Thanks Thomas for posting and actually ripping on yours for us to hear. Sounds AMAZING!! Definitely gonna delete cat and flap and servo/cables. 👍🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Wishing you the best with your bike....Push hard ,But keep that 20% cushion for emergency situations, specially on the streets and canyons bro bro !!! 👊👍🤙✝️
Thanks much🙏🏻🙏🏻. Your absolutely right on the 20% cushion and ALWAYS respect the machine!! I’m good. Rode Suzuki dirt bikes my whole childhood and been riding rockets for 10 yrs. thanks again 👍🏻
Filmed with go pro in hand....Made a couple mistakes during this video,as i just got off of work and rushed it before it got dark.I didn't remove the throttle bodies, but i had the secondary throttle plates RESTRICTIONS removed..Also when i was talking about stomp pads,i use leathers in the canyon's, and Kevlar jeans for communing.Stomp pads really work good when using Kevlar jeans as u don't slide forward..I will do a SICK drive bye vid real soon on a way better road so you will hear M4 pipe/cat hack at way higher speed. Thanks and enjoy,PEACE OUT !!!!
I have Puig levers and crash pads. On saturday I am going for the Puig windshield. My has Ixill exhast but is more for looks. Are those oryginal stomp grips or other brand?
Luis Garza About six or seven guys have done this, and all have been happy with the ECU flash and the sound of the bike.Let me know what’s up thanks bud
@@jimmygixxer9451 is it dumb loud without the baffle? I like my bikes loud but not crazy loud so debating if I should keep the baffle on or not with the cat delete
Hey man can you tell me exactly which mid pipe you bought? I have the same bike and same slip on and my shop says they can’t source a mid pipe and I really want to get rid of the cat and get it flashed
What’s up bro!!! So I just did my cat delete, MJS pipe, air filter, exhaust and ECU flash...you’re right the bike is a whole new bike. I might weld the midpipe though. Haven’t decided yet. Other than that I’m happy with it.
Also anybody else that is doing the midpipe install...I suggest taking your midpipe to a muffler shop right away when you get it and have them open the end that goes over the header a little bit...not much...just so you’re not under the bike with a dremel grind away trying to slip it on.
Hi Thomas, great tube, heard you now ride a BMWRR???. Ran into a friend of yours on the 94 canyon ride that my son had contact with him at Chuckwalla. How is your new ride and do you still track? Happy Holidays!!!
First off, NICE BIKE. I got a 14' 750 same color and I was thinking of deleting the cat as well. however, I have a Yoshi slip on. did you have to input another o2 sensor or you cut the pipe before the sensor? also, I heard you say moto mummy had a good mid pipe for the attachment. are they pipe specific? I was thinking of cutting/ grinding the pipe myself as well. did you have someone weld it back for? im assuming tig weld correct?
ALexo122 About 20,000 miles later I’m super happy ,bike still running good .in fact I took bike out yesterday for 100 mile ride.2 other people have also used the ECU flash and have had positive comments .let me know if you do it ,happy new year bro
+Ron Michael Relojo What up homie-read this and the links than hit me up..ECU FLASH basically unleashes all the power and potential of our bikes.Because of smog restrictions, our bikes run super lean and are restricted...The ecu flashes removes all that shit and lets them run 100%..Check this out and let me know if this helps..thanks . ECU Tuning ECU tuning is the art and science of cracking the code that the factory installs in your motorcycle's brain and giving it an upgrade. Tweaking your ECU means removing things like low RPM power restrictions, closed loop fuel maps, error codes when changing parts, and a slew of other options. It enables you to take a lackluster motorcycle with twitchy throttle control and turn it into that smooth powerful road monster you expected.. Modification List • Remove all Throttle Based Restrictions • Removes all Speed and Gear Based Restrictions • Optimized DBW Throttle Maps (both A and STD mode) using our Proprietary Direct-Spline Algorithms • Optimized Ignition Timing • Improved Fuel Mapping, both Performance, and Consistency • Optimized Velocity Stack Switching Point • Increased Rev Limit (normally 500 rpm on most bikes) • Reduced Excessive Engine Braking • Injector Fuel-Cut Eliminated for Off-On Throttle Smoothness • Optimized Injector Phasing (Switching Between Primary and Secondary Injectors) • Steering Damper Code Disabled • Exhaust Valve Error Code Disabled www.danosperformance.com/ECU%20Flashing.htm - danos did mine www.jetttuning.com/ecu-re-flash/ PEACE
Hi. Great video, I have the same bike. Bought it used but, in great shape.. I like what you did with the bike. Can you post the price on all the add on. Did you do it yourself?
Dan Wendt hey Dan thanks for looking at video..I haven't had Front blinkers for a couple years but I'm going to put on some flushmounted blinkers for Canyon rides and in the city..
Hey Rose,I love that name that’s my daughters middle name ....it’s been a great bike for commuting ,canyons and the track....34k Miles and still smooth as can be ,suspension and everything ❤️🤙✝️
What Up Javier, I grabbed a longer Pan head bolt added a couple washers and rubber spacers...Did a little grinding of the washers and spacers and stuffed it inside the handle grip and made it work.... hope you have a great riding year my friend and stay safe🤙😎✝️
Javier Sella I’m getting ready to take the bike to the track March 13 I’ll pull out the washers and rubber pieces take a picture of them and send them to you if you would like
Everything is still the same servo still on it,And yet to throw an F1 light with the ECU flash ....actually made it street legal last weekend and rode it through the canyons, was awesome. Been using GSX-R mostly for the race track at chuckwalla raceway
Sounds really good dude ive had the M4 GP myself on both my previous Zx6r’s 2010 and 2011 and absolutely loved it 🥰 i know mine use to sound awesome blipping the throttle while coming down through the gears and so does yours 👍🏻 do you still own the bike? Adam 🇬🇧
Adam Stratford You hit the nail on the head ,blipping the throttle going down gears sounds so good .....thanks for subscribing brother ,yes I still on the bike , and it’s my designated track bike and a great tool for the track specially in the breaking zone .. Look @ some of my videos at the race track @ chuckwalla, bike sounds awesome happy new year.. Bike has 33,000 miles on it and still runs great
Anthony Heflin I think I paid for the box and then he deducted it off the total bill. Make sure you let him know if you have the cat delete a different air filter than stock etc..all that matters ,you also should talk to him about what other mods he can do for you ..he can set your throttle response at aggressive medium or slow and also find out what three maps he's mapping your ECU to...He is a cool guy and won't mind talking to u.. please let me know how it goes ,good luck bro
THOMAS HERNANDEZ,JR I told him I got the m4 go slip on. Cat still in place. K&N filter and I wanted smoother throttle. Secondary throttle plates to work more than 70% rev limiter and speed limiter removed
Jordan Parker I got a MJS for the mid pipe and I did not disable the steering dampener... steering Damper comes in handy at the track and in the canyons on rough roads. Safe riding Homie
Hey josh hope all is well, Other than Laguna Sega most tracks in California don’t take a decibel reading. I tested it without the baffle and it was over 98.2, I think it was floating around 102.....so if the track did have a decibel requirement I’m pretty sure the M4 Gp Pipe would not pass Especially if you had a cat delete ....
102 isn't bad, is that measured at redline? The track I'm going to in August has a DB limit at 103 measured at 50 ft away. Its at Start/Finish so I would most like be at 100% throttle Ps This setup was my best decision ever!!!
michael GUERRA I don't feel that on my bike,do u think u grabbing the grips to hard when the bike kicks into the power band.Try relaxing and c if that makes a difference.let me know.if you think it's just the bike vibrating through the triple clamps..if so,I have a couple suggestions for that also. Thanks brother
Thanks bro. Don't know where it's comming from or if it's even normal. Does your steering dampener have a little play like you can wiggle it? Sorry it's my first bike and I keep hearing suzukis are a little less smooth than other bikes so maybe it's just me lol
Here is a a link with all the characteristics of bikes..this will give you a answer to any question u have..let me know if it helps.. save this link for ever...Remember turning ADJUSTERS in makes suspension faster and harder..turning adjusters out make suspension slower and softer..PRELOAD IS THE OPPOSITE.Please let me know if that works.... www.gsxr.com/38-technical-faqs/10012-usefull-suspension-tuning-guide.html
Taylor On Two Wheels headers are stock, pretty loud with no baffle, but perfect with stock baffle in pipe...check out my channel ,I have a lot of vids with the Gsxr and you can hear the pipe specially at the track. Hope this helps you bro✝️
Jake F15152 what up JAKE I didn't remove the exhaust valve, and it runs great at low-mid -& high RPMS.The Ecu flash flash will take care of the servo valve..remember you have to get a Ecu flash or power commander after cutting off the cat.Peace
What's up bud ,not hard at all..the mjs pipe fits perfect, and bolts line rht up.use a med toothed saw zaw blade and cut in front of weld. check out cat delete on RU-vid a lot of videos out there any more questions hit me up..let me know how it comes out...ecu flashed worked great for 75$..
+Danny Paschen i cut the catalytic converter off at the weld..cut as close as you can on the weld,so that mid pipe can clamp on..its not to hard, just use a new sawzall metal blade..you bike will sound loud ,and run better after that..enjoy
I’m not sure if it’s illegal to remove cat, but I know there is noise restrictions in DB...I’m using this bike mostly for the race track now , and there are no restrictions on the track.....You might be able just to find a slip on Pipe and not have to cut the cat let me know what you find out ....safe riding bro
Caleb Whitted Good question, but no.I am pretty sure the ecu flash only compensated for the mods I put on my bike..NO CAT,K&N FILTER, MID PIPE . I think some of the best parts of the flashe,is they removed the throttle restrictions and you get better fuel Maps.
I cut in front of the sensor,so i did not have to replace anything.. Joe,i think the mid pipe is for m4 gp pipe only ,but you can call moto mummy and verify...I have not had it welded yet,as the clamp and bolt to pipe secure it very tightly..Let me know how your cat delete goes..Peace
YOU WILL FEEL A WAY SMOTHER BIKE..ALL RESTRICTIONS ON SPEED WILL BE REMOVED WHICH WILL RESULT IN MORE LINEAR RPM AND SPEED WHEN YOU MAKE POWER.THROTTLE CONTROL AND ENGINE BREAK WAY SMOTHER ALSO..GOOD LUCK..PEACE.CAPS OH WELL.HA HA
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iJ1XWGwH0lo.html THIS VID WILL GIVE U A GREAT IDEA WHAT THE PIPE/CAT DELETE SOUNDS LIKE IN ACTION.AT 1:40 IT REALLY GIVES U A GOOD SOUND ON A LONG STRAIGHT..ENJOY PEACE
A lot of mods might be illegal in certain states, but i have never been hassled by the cops over a Cat Delete...Ride hard in the right places !!!! Yes ,there is a MAJOR SOUND difference over all..Bike will SOUNDS GREAT any time u get on the throttle hard..Good luck, and if you have any more questions ,hit me up..
@@THOMASHERNANDEZJR thanks Homie! I have to decide between this color or all black. I just love black frames 😭🤦🏽♂️ blue frame bothers me for some reason
nifkin the local barbarian Do a cat delete/and ECU FLASH,and any pipe should sound great. They make a lot of great pipes for 08 GSX-R.Let me know how it turns out bro.Good luck !!!
OK not to sound like a noob what exhausts are similar and what is a ecu flash I am tired of hearing bikes screaming down the road I live on and trying to guess what they got
nifkin the local barbarian ECU flash is when they Flash the computer on your bike it's right under and in front of the tank. call somebody that does ECU flash tell them what kind of air filter you have, cat delete, mid pipe and slip on pipe.. then they will reflash your computer for you,so it runs with all your mods.. they also remove all restrictions so you get 100% of your power not just 70%.. some pipes for your bike would be voodoo, Jardine the M4 pipe that I have and Akrapovic. get on the computer and look up different stores and what kind of pipes they have for your for your 2008 GSXR. let me know if this helps and let me hear ur bike when ur done...God blesss....
nifkin the local barbarian I got all the sound when I cut the cat off,and remember you have to get a ECU Flash or Dyno tune, otherwise it'll run too hot..Peace
Michael Perez Feels way smother more explosive and better engine break. The power also feels Way more linear across the board. Let me know in a week or so what you think✌️
Got my ECU back from Danos for my gsxr 600 my bike feels way faster it takes of quick!!!!! It's also smother the exhaust also sounds awesome while I shift!!!
Eps Lepsy What’s up brother sorry about the late response been super busy check this out and let me know if it works for you happy new year bro www.misano-moto-imports.com/
TRY THIS BRO,LET ME KNOW IF IT WORKS,CAPS SORRY LOL THANKS www.misano-moto-imports.com/categories/accessories-by-bike-models/suzuki/suzuki-gsxr750-2011-2017.html
Taylor On Two Wheels Good morning T I got the ECU Flashed at Danos Performance in Hemet...the whole process took about four days..that was sending it in and getting it back ,let me know if that helps... For that price ,it was a great deal... bike still running strong. As it’s a dedicated track bike now🤙✌️👍✝️
Taylor On Two Wheels no after market headers...Just cat delete,k&n filter,Gp pipe.. Remember Ecu flash will give u 3 new maps for bike, reduce engine brake and make bike smother all the way around 😎✝️
