Some of the controls on the left of the steering wheel stopped working unless I turned the wheel about 90 degrees. So after some research I found that I could replace the clock spring for about $17 as opposed to the dealers $400. The hardest part is the steering column nut (you'll need someone to hold the wheel while you get it off) and pulling the steering wheel off the column (lots of rocking and pulling).
Part Number: 934903q120
Tools required: 7/8 socket, and socket wrench. Philips Screw driver (+), long thin screw driver, or some kind of poking implement to depress spring loaded pegs.
Disclaimer: I am not a mechanic. If you break your car it's your fault. Use common sense.
This post was the deciding factor in knowing it was something I could do on my own: www.hyundai-for...
Disconnect your negative battery terminal at least an hour before trying to mess with the airbag. Don't die.
