Downpipes don't affect the sound of the optima since the cat begins on the mid-pipe from what I understand.

I did a muffler and resonator delete with a 3” 17” performance resonator down to 2.5” straight back to dual tips, it pops and burbles nice and doesn’t drone, it sounds like a exotic car at high RPMs in a low gear, and by that I mean it sounds like a lion roar it’s kinda crazy for such a small engine.

@@jonathanchavarria6000 More than likely. It's only single out from the engine. So I believe it goes cat, exhaust then splits to the dual outlets. Look up an OEM system for your year and make sure.

Yes they are i live in north carolina but you wont get a lot of tickets if it isnt too loud
