2011 Leuven Open Backgammon semifinal 

Will someone please tell me the rule used at @29:20 that allows for excess bear-off from two 3s on pip 4 to be used as another bear-off from pip 2? Many of us saw it. Total bear-off was 12 pips, but I struggle to find rules that will allow a pair of threes to be used that way.

At 29:19.. The bloke rolls a double three and puts a 4 chip in the bank..

At the end why did he bear off 4 checkers when he move one 3 points (double 3 roll)

Maybe someone could teach them you don't have to hit your opponent's piece if it doesn't work in your favour. Extremely frustrating match to watch.

At 18:00, why did the guy on the left leave a single counter there? I'm only on my second day of playing Backgammon but I wouldn't have done that.

That was intense but fun to watch. Overall if given the chance to kill, we should? Unless our home has too many open checkers? Thx.

somewhere at 24min, he gets 6 and 3.. he setting one circle at 3 and playing 6 + 3 to eat his circle.. WTF?

does anyone know what size board they are playing?

I totaly agree. I'm shocked that they can move back at a Competition! Semi-final? lol. Also the guy on the right cheated or he can't count, instead of 5 he moved a 6 towards the end. Complete amateurs. Also sometimes they think for sooo long at an obvious easy move. Thanks for the movie uploader,
