2011 Modded Ruckus Vs. 2018 Stock Ruckus!

basically just doing a test with a 190lb rider on a older ruckus with performance mods, vs a brand new ruckus that is stock with 50 miles on it with a 180lb rider. just trying toes the difference in speed and acceleration between the two!

I'm a stock Ruckus rider. My 2007 has 21,500 miles and runs just like when I rode it home from the Honda Dealership.

The skateboard on his back weighs around 6 lb’s. That right there makes your 7-9 lb difference 1-3 lb’s.

Yea the break in has big differences in speed after break in period, so this isn't really a good comparison, do it again when the 2018 is at 1000 miles and it will do good bit better

What all have you done to mod yours. I’m all new to this. I’m looking at a 2015 or 2016 one for 1500 with 3000miles on it. Never had or ridden one

2022 rukus is going for $2700 not including all the fees which are another about $1500. Out the door is about $4200. How much did your buddy get his for? Price and all fees of price as well? I want to get one but darn fees are super high in California.

There are dealer fees too assembling, destination registering etc.. after all that a brand new one can come to $3000 not including tax.

Well, I weigh more than you and I’m only 5’8” but I’m losing my weight as well. I weighed 260 when I tested a ruck and on the flat it went to 40, it took a bit but it got there. Uphill I was only going 26. It was a blast to ride on and will eventually get one. I also have a friend (RU-vid channel-“Sincloth702) who is 6’2” and I think he weighs near 230 but he gets in the 32-42 mph range.

no matter what the motor is ....stock looks super bad and nerdy i would change the look first lol but that is my opinion I just wouldn't be caught alive driving one of those in its stock look form.

@@ChuckyWright yeah everyone has there own taste...I wouldn't wear pants that are way over my shoe level also but hey some are ok with pants that fit then very high over there shoes, everyone has there own taste in what they don't mind using... that's just 100% definitely not gonna be me.

raises the rpm restriction. so you can be in the power band of these motors

@@ChuckyWright hey thanks. Im actually hitting 41 mph with basic mods. 45mph on like a calm sunny day.. Similar to your setup in your other vids. 5.5 dr pulley. Variator and big carb. Also, my ruckus is 14 yrs old.👍

Tons you can do, variator rollers, intake, exhaust and jet, or if its fuel injected, youd need some kind of tuner.

From simple intake, exhaust, and carb jets right up to a supercharger and nitromethane. It depends on how crazy you are and how much stuff you are willing to modify and change and break in the process.
