Yeah, that CVT judder wouldn't sit well with me.... My cousin has a 2010 Rogue SL. A few years ago, the CVT went out on him. He got lucky the first time and Nissan replaced it free of charge. Currently, the CVT's about to go out AGAIN.
Changed CVT fluid at 30,000 miles. I currently have a 2015 Rogue love the car no issues my CVT is original only thing done was normal oil changes and replaced set of tires few months ago even have OEM battery. You should see mines look like just bought yesterday had it for going on 5 years. I am diehard Nissan fan see the 2021 Rogue is nice also love the Sentra not into compact cars, Nissan did have problems with CVTs years ago now gotten better over the years. Well hopefully this Rogue doesn't need replacing just change fluid which these requires to change the fluid in them. Still love Nissans and hope your Rogue still be reliable so can in Nissan family as me.
I'd say the driver's quarter panel has been off before. It doesn't seem to line up very well. There were a few rusty bolts in the engine bay which don't quite match up with the other shiny clean ones. Good thing your friend got that warranty. This should make for a solid A-B
I have a 2011 rouge. I pull my 900 lbs seadoo with it now for 6 years. No issues at all. I change the CVT fluid every two years. It's all about maintenance. Most modern transmission CVT, or regular automatic are all crap and fail well before they should
