Great video but what size sockets/ wrenches are needed? I can figure which size goes where but I just need to make sure I've got all the right sizes before I start tearing my truck apart.

Do not tighten the lower strut bolt and nut until the suspension is loaded to orient the busing in the correct location, this is most easily done just before you align the vehicle on the alignment rack. For the love of god align your vehicle if you care about your tires and driveability at all...

Did you need new longer sway bar links? Did this affect turn radius? Have these held up without issue since install?

How come when i installed a 2 inch spacer on my 07 titan, the upper control arm wouldnt reach the spindle? But on every video I watch, there is no issue with UCAs reaching the spindle?
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits 3 года назад
That I don't know, each vehicle is ifferent. Did you try pulling the UCA down and also lifting the LCA up? It's not exactly easy, depending on the vehicle, but definitely doable.
@majorcheese2345
@majorcheese2345 3 года назад
@@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits I used a jack to lift the LCA up to the UCA and saw that this was not gonna work. I then did some research and other titans also had this issue when installing a 2 inch spacer. Some folks even shaved part of the UCA and the strut housing to make the parts fit, but they would eventually end in disaster.

Never ran into this. We have been selling these spacers for years, and even sell up to a 3.5" lift spacer which is only 1.9" thick, for '04-at least '20 Titans.

Okay vid, but as mentioned already, why not offer wrench sizes and even torque values....?
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits Год назад
We do our best to include these in our videos. However, a basic wrench set will suffice as only a few standard sizes are needed & we recommend sticking with the factory torque specs for everything. This information is readily available online if you do not have a repair manual for your vehicle. You can always reach out to us for more information as well at 888-810-6791.

No - just the kit and some rear angle shims to correct the pinion angle and you're good.

@@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits I've got a 2005 4x4 crew cab im wanting to level out or possibly a tiny tiny bit of squat. I hate forward rake anyhow, would the 2 or 2.5 inch lift spacers hurt the cv angles on my 4x4? I saw some people saying they were having issues with control arm contacts and sway bar link issues with some of them. I just want to level my truck preferably without lowering the rear since I do use it for a work truck. What would be your honest suggestions with a 2005 4x4 without having coil bucket clearance issues and stuff like that. Its my daily and I drive my shit like a man. But 2-2.5 inches seems about perfect for the level
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits 3 года назад
I'd suggest first figuring out your rake first - Too little lift and it sits similar to how it does, too much and you're gonna be bulldoggin' around town. 2-3" typically work for these vehicles but it is always going to be depending on how much sag you have, which is why its important to measure your current rake and decide from there!

@@watchmanexpert not yet. One shop wants $850 to install a spacer plus bigger UCAs. Another shop said that they wouldn't install a spacer if installing bigger UCAs. I'm now kind of confused

Glo E I called PRG and they told me I can install the spacer with the bilstein top notch but I will need UCA , longer bump stop , longer end Link and longer bolt cam , I can buy everything for 650 and I will do the job by myself is not difficult . I have -51 offset wheel and only I need is 1.5 or 2 inch block

Hello, Whats the max height for leveling kit you can go with out replacing other stock parts? or what parts are also recommended to replace? I have a 04 nissan titan 2wd, thanks!
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits 3 года назад
Hello! The tallest you can do is 3.5" without having to replace factory components. While you can go that high without replacing factory components, it would be recommended (but not necessary) to consider replacing your UCA's with something meant for lifts between 2-4" if you really want to maximize clearance and additional caster to provide even better handling.
@pauljennings1519
@pauljennings1519 3 года назад
Isnt there Coil bucket contact with the 4X4 if the spacer is any bigger than 1.5?
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits 3 года назад
We carry spacers to lift the front up to 3.5", with a spacer thickness of 1.9". The Pro4X models already have a factory lift so our 3" and 3.5" lifts will not work, so a 2.5" lift would be the maximum on the Pro4X, which has a spacer thickness of 1.5", without UCA replacement.

I have an 07 nissan titan 2wd, i want to get the 2" front and 1.5" rear kit. Will that raise my truck and keep it level?
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits Год назад
It will depend on how the truck is sitting now, specifically the difference between the front & rear right height. If there is currently half an inch of difference between the front & rear, then yes, installing a 2-inch front & 1.5-inch rear lift should lift & level the truck when installed correctly.

@@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits it's on stock suspension height right now. What about if I go with 2 1/2" fr9nt and 1" rear? Thanks for the reply 👍
@adiaz856
@adiaz856 Год назад
Front is 34" and rear is 37"
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits Год назад
Based on those measurements, if you install a 2.5-inch front & 1-inch rear you'll be a lot closer to being level. Only a 1.5-inch difference between the front/rear vs 3 inches currently. You can choose to go 3-inch in the front, but you'll most likely need to look into extended shock options.

@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits 3 года назад
The easiest way is by replacing your factory caster/camber alignment bolts with new ones that will allow you an additional adjustment of +/- 2 degrees.

Can I use original cotter pins?
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits
@SupremesuspensionsLiftKits 3 года назад
We would suggest using new cotter pins since straightening the old ones and rebending them can cause the pin to weaken and if the bent portion breaks off the vibrations of the vehicle can cause the pins to back out, then the castle nut could come undone, and....you get the picture.
