Cancellara, not the first or last time, the strongest talent in a top level road race, is robbed, by wheel suckers and other reprobates. Thats what I love about bike racing and the non cycling public dont understand, the bike game, is a tactical team sport but at a more cerebral level than most.
Sport is cruel: Cancellara and Chavenel so courageous. But Nuyens - no respect. A hollow victory for a far inferior rider. Almost a disgraceful victory. Certainly distasteful. Yes I know the tactics but he never worked in a situation where he should.
