thank you for this tutorial as I just got in a Prius and could not for the life of me work out why it would not stay in gear chosen and kept going back to middle
Thanks Nathan for telling everything so clearly and beautiful for a wonderful Toyota Prius makes your life more comfortable and enjoyable...Tell me price?
When you put the car in reverse is it always supposed to beep? I just purchased a 2013 Prius yesterday and had trouble getting it into reverse to back out of my carport. It wanted to stay in neutral. Had to power off the car and turn it on again to get it into reverse and don't remember hearing it beep at all. ... So much to learn! Thank you so much for this helpful video.
Thank for the explanation how to arrive a Toyota Hybrid. My TOYOTA Prius is a 2011 ZUW 30. Where can I buy a new battery for my Prius 30 generation 3. Please advice. .
B mode is for regenerative braking. If you shift on this mode, the car will charge your hybrid battery every time you hit the breaks or you coast. Recommended for city driving or stop and go traffic.
No, that’s not correct. The Prius recharges the battery every time u break or cost without using B or brake more. This B mode applies the gas engine to the drive line to aid in deceleration on long grades.
My 2011 only unlocks the driver’s door when I take hold of the handle from the outside. I have to manually push the unlock button on the door when I open it.
you have to change the settings by pressing the lock/unlock buttons of the remote (do it inside your car) it a technique used for the 2012 model and i think it's apply for the 2011 also. do the same to reverse the settings to the initial behaviour
Opening the driver's door does not open all the doors and hatch. You have to press the open button on the keyfob twice. It would be nice if you mentioned that.
I should mention that ECO gives you 50 miles / gallon, so "more" gas on Power Mode isn't going to send you to the gas station. You are STILL not going to make a stop there for a while.
there is a key that can be released from the fob, there's a little button on the side and it will release the key, I believe. use the key to unlock the door. the fob will still be detected, and you'll still be able to drive the vehicle. good luck!
There's a park button and a parking brake. The parking brake is to the left of the regular brake. You basically use both the park button and the parking brake simultaneously when you're parking your car.
I just bought a 2011 yesterday, they are not flashy, but its a smart choice on saving gas money. your comment is 4 years old, im curious to what you drive now??
