2011 toyota sienna water pump, tensioner, belt, idler pulley, thermostat, coolant 

The bleeder valve wow i need to see if my wifes highlander has it, takes ten minutes to heat up shes gettin crazy about it.

My tensioner was still fine, nothing was wrong with it. The reason I changed my tensioner cause it starts to loose its tension over time. Not sure if there was a easier way to remove the tensioner without removing the ac. But ya when everything is back together just get a can of ac and recharge it.

I would just do the water pump and the belt. I would just inspect all the other parts. For the ac go buy a can of freon with a gauge. You can plug the gauge in and see if your freon is low.

Yes but I wanted to replace the tensioner.

@@michaelswank8685 I replaced mine. The outside diameter of the pulleys are the same, but the inside and ball bearings are different. The tensioner pulley spring arm can go bad and may need replacing if it no longer provides tension to the drive belt. But if all you hear is a grinding noise, then the ball bearings are bad. The price for the idle pulley was $48 if I remember correctly, but the ball bearings are only $5. I ended up buying two different size ball bearings for $10. They have a number written on the side to tell you exactly which one you need. It was labor intensive, but I saved a ton of money and that gave me a lot of satisfaction. Good luck!

Mine is making noise when AC is on and the compressor is starting to work/ working. Which is to recognize by the fact, that the radiator is starting too. Did you manage to simply get the tensioner pulley out to replace the ball bearings? Or did you have to remove the whole tensioner including the mounting and the arm? How long should it take? Do I simply push the tensioner counterclockwise all the way to the passenger, the put sth in the hole to hold it in place and then turn the bolt holding the pulley clockwise to remove it or is it more complicated?

Yes I have the v6. If you doing just the water pump it's easier but if you replacing the tensioner its more longer. So I say about 2h water pump and 4 hour tensioner/ water pump.

Ya just the water pump was making noise. Everything else was fine.

I did put back the right amount. Still have the van and AC works great.

At what mileage?

Ya I remember that bolt. I think I unscrewed one of the mounts? Or try jacking up the motor and see if it will give you more room to slide it out.
