2011 Toyota Tundra - Cabin Air Filter Replacement - Fast and Easy!
Whenever I do an Oil & Filter change on my Tundra, I also be sure to replace the Cabin Air Filter at the same time.
This is a really easy job that a dealer could charge you at least a half an hour labor for what literally takes a few minutes! Do It Yourself!
The average American spends almost 300 hours in their car every year. That's a lot of time spent breathing potentially dirty, unpleasant air.
Although it sounds like it, I'm not sponsored by Purolator or anyone else.
This is the filter I prefer to use in my truck.
There are several brands out there, some a little more and some a little less expensive.
PurolatorBOSS Premium Cabin Air Filters with Febreze Freshness are designed with triple-layer protection. This powerful combination blocks and controls odors while preventing mold and bacteria growth on the filter. The filter effectively captures fine dust particles, inert allergens and virus aerosols that have been known to cause respiratory issues. The advanced filtration solution combines the odor eliminating technology of Febreze with an antimicrobial layer that prevents mold, mildew and bacteria growth on the filter. Unlike HEPA filters, Purolator's highly efficient filter captures fine dust particles like dirt, brake dust, soot and pollen - all while optimizing critical air flow through the vehicle's HVAC system, allowing it to function properly.
