2011 Yamaha YZ450F test with Adam Riemann. Part 1. 

I have this bike and wow. It is a seriously a powerful bike, great handling and a good workout.

Adam, if you ever read this, do you still have this bike out of curiosity. It seems like you were really infatuated with this bike. I feel the similar about mine. I constantly get told my bike it "too big, too heavy and too powerful" for the woods enduro. I honestly disagree, but I have a lot of bike to learn how to tame.

Going through all the old ARiemann videos on youtube, what a treat.

@mad87645 I looked it up, I suppose it really was not worth saying because it is bigger, but not by much at all... LOL The 2010 was 1.6 gal and the 2011 is 1.63 gal LOL ... Super huge difference there :( IMS makes a 2.4 gal tank for it, it runs $274.95 USD. It is really a great bike, just needs a few mods for the brush.

@atvrider43 if you can aford a 4 stroke get it, i have riden both and it truely doesnt matter. a new 450f is about 9500 new and a 250 2 stroke is 7500 new and to maintain the 250 is cheaper. however the 4 stroke create better power and are fuel injected, and have better ergos for the fact that thats where the r.n.d. is

ppl say these 4 strokes cost so much to maintain...and tht 2 strokes r the way to go,what is wrong with this 4 strokes, I want to get 1 one the two and i don't know what to get? I like 4 strokes. but can u explain why ppl are saying this about the 4 stroke motorcross bikes

Whether your riding on the track or in the bush, both enduro and motorcross bikes have similar motors...so really would it really matter what kind of bike you get?, For an ex. WR450f and a Yz450F, if i bought a YZ450f i would probably change the suspension and thats all?

@riaan501 Do 2 strokes burn gas quicker? Why do they break down more? Ppl say the 4 strokes are expensive to maintain, idk if i want tht though, they say u have to mess with the valves and stuff

did you ride dirtbike before if so what size you have to remember you might be able to fit the bike but are you able to handel the bike if you have experiance in dirtbikeing and looking to upgrade to a bigger bike it might be the way to go. i say you should go test drive one before you buy one and see if its for you a yz250f or 250 2stroke might be a bike for you just go test drive them and see whitch one you like

Hey mate, just wondering if you have the numbers for the clubman map you're using in this video, or whatever map you found best for enduro type riding. Just bought one of these and keen to set it up for a bit of enduro! Cheers

@mad87645 At least for 2011 the fuel tank is a bit bigger...LOL Great MX bike, would love to have more fuel for offroad though...

where you running the original gas tank ? I got this bike 3 days ago for endure and cross. i think i need a bigger tank, but i dont want to mess up my handling and light bicycle feel. help!

this bike is fantastic, very easy to ride fast. very good suspension without feeling wallowy, infact i learnt to ride a clutch bike on this bike

just got power tuner do all of them have peset tunes in them coz in the book it daznt say ?

my cousin has a yz426 with the factory yz450 race engine, needless to say, it flys.
