Thank God they gave Dave another assignment! Roman & Nathan actually read these comments! Great job Dave & thanks Roman & Nathan for giving hum a chance. I love to see good people succeed!
I must say you are getting better and better at this, Dave. You have more fun with it, you give great and relevant info, the video recording is thought-through. Keep up the great work!
@superset5 if you are in the US, that is wrong. Fully loaded S5 is $65k, fully loaded 335is is $62k. I just cross shopped these two and picked up the BMW. M3 loaded is $75+k. plus, performance wise the M3 kills the S5, that is why Audi made the RS line. Audi does not have a higher end coupe to compete with the 650i or Mercedes CL550.
Exactly. you can use it to tow, in the snow or as a sports car. I've had a BMW before. Very nice vehicles. But not the "put ur ass in the seat excitement I get from the Jeep SRT. Also pretty sure it'd beat the Vette I had. But the fact I can use a Corvette fast vehicle all year, in a place that gets a lot of snow during winter, is the best to me
are you talking about the 2012 SRT? I doubt you are. I had an earlier version and it was a "super cheap interior", but the '12 is very nice inside and out.
@pentium2028 true. but they are aimed at totally different markets. although some could cross shop, usually if you are looking at a BMW you are looking at Mercedes/Audi as a competitor, nor as much Porsche. plus, the new 911 loaded will probably exceed $100k.
Quote " if you want to carry four people, you might be better with a Range Rover" Who do you know that's in the market for a sleek coupe, is suddenly going to change to a Range Rover?
People who talk about practicality on these kinds of cars need to be slapped. Someone from BMW said that the average 6-Series buyer already owns 3-5 other cars. People don't buy a 650i coupe as their only vehicle, it's called excess.
@Diddlen not true. especially handling wise. my friend has the SRT8 and my 335is is simply the better performer. the new 650i performs similarly to the 335is coupe, it's just larger with added luxuries. hence the V8 twinturbo power and steeper price. the jeep also has a super cheap interior. BMW is still a luxury vehicle. if u just wanted speed, get a GT-R, Camaro ZL1, or Mustang GT...
This Guy got the comparison part totally wrong. How can this be compared with an Audi S5 or a Mercedes CL? THose two are in totally different classes. I think he is just looking at the fact that those two are also 2door coupes like this.
dude the 650i has almost the same basic price, plus Porsche rips you off in the options.... plus the 650i is a waay better looking and has greater value for money than the carrera.
Oh thank you sir,you just said this is supercar almost power and is so fast and on an on ,this makes me so proud right now cause i just smoked one of these today in my GT.
