Thanks a million brother .. you saved a lot of headache with my 2014 challenger srt8... Just got one more problem with the gauge cluster. It keeps showing the Srt8 badge only! Without showing the mileage, temp , compass and music source. I have already reseted the cluster but it didn't work !
How does your gauge work brother? Mines stays at the C even after driving for a while it picks up then drops back down. Hasn’t surpassed to the Heating though
So did you need to buy the new push start button? My keys aren't working so I was thinking of just getting some keys on Amazon and trying what you did in this video!
My key fob works perfect just want to get my push button start to work that I got off eBay a few years back…just sitting in the glove box cause I’m thinking I need to see the dealer to program it. If I hold my fob to the push button like that will it work?…..probably not tho smh
It worked. I changed my battery and it would say damaged key fob. I saw this video and took the battery out and put it back in. Did the process you gave me...and boom it works perfectly.💪🏾
Someone just told me that button can pop out and the end of the fob fits in where the button was like a key. Makes sence since the end of the fob looks like it fits somewhere....
I tried it but didn't work, but I jad to cal a locksmith and he made a new copy of the key fob. They'll charge between $300-400 but itll give you peace of mind when traveling.
Thanks for video. But people should be told that you can just PULL THAT START BUTTON out and there is a hole behind it for the key fobik to stick in. Then it will program itself.
Any idea of a reset pattern for my 2012 Dodge Challenger- drivers door keeps dropping 1/4 in and back up all day all night. Causing battery to go dead ! Plz help me -#gonecrazyinwv
I just fixed this on my 2013 Dodge Challenger. You need a new window latch for your driver door. It’s cheap and easy to replace. All you really need is a screwdriver and something to pop the inner door off the frame when you take out the 5 or 6 screws holding it on. Don’t forget the screw behind handle also. I replaced and recharged several batteries behind this one issue. I wish someone had told me this when I was searching for answers so I’m here to tell you.
Gonna try this thanks. Just bought a 2012 RT and dealer had a key guy try to reprogram them. Didn't work. Disconnected the battery for a few minutes, Didn't work. Car starts with push button start but fobs don't lock/unlock doors or open trunk or car alarm. Door handle lock/unlock works key guy said fobs r working but car is not communicating with fobs......we'll see.
I too have NO PUSH BUTTON AND thisHas been becoming a problem more and more so ever since I got the key fob replaced when it read damaged key sometimes It used to start then it doesn’t start so I switched back off and threw it back on and then it starts Today I have no luck WE Challenger owners are face with a stupid challenge and we need help
He clearly in the tittle says it worked on his dodge challenger , he didn't said any other models, I'm currently having an issue with our challenger that keeps beeping the horn and locks and unlocks itself, my head is fucking spinning
