Martino and Michelle's cha cha was for me the most interesting, there was so much clever play between the man and lady with lots of fun and cheeky choreography. The thing I really appreciate most from this couple is their clever use of phrasing and musicality in their characterization of the dance which although many of the other couples have, it is not as good as that of Zanibellato's and Abildtrup's.
very well said.. just be with wdc and al... and you can feel the importance of each competitor and the preservation of dance as an art..were dancers dance.... and many more
I totally agree-where where your top couples this time??? Missed them and 2 of these finalists need alot more work in my opinion before placing in this caliber of competition-thought it was very odd. Only 4 couples really warranted being there-the other 2 are below this group's high caliber level/standards.
judges need to get their eyes checked, how did Gabriele and Anna rank higher than Martino and Michelle?! on another note, gotta love Nino and Khrystina, brilliant as always!
Goffredo and Matus need to work on choreography in my opinion-they showcase he with great speed and highlight her power and strength-however the 2 don't always seem to be in synch-and she and Italy and Denmark could use some styling advice-don't care for any their finals costumes this time-all seem unflattering as hell-too bad but always love to watch these great dancers! Seems judging very slanted to final couples-not the ones typically chosen among the group there-anyone else agree?
I`m from Russia.but I very like Nino with our beautiful girl-Kristina.She is great! I don`t like Anna Matus-it is a "wooden" and not plastic, not sexy,But her partner works very well the body. And I like Martino & Michelle.of course Russian couples very strong, but in this GrandSlam was not the leading dance couples in our country(((
This is professional level of Cha-cha-cha. They use the basic, intermediate and advanced moves of Cha-cha-cha but with their own style of choreography. Doing the traditional cha-cha-cha steps will not make it at this level. They all know the steps and wouldn't be much of a competition.
Gusev is really the best. Few couples are sooo far from dancing, they are just mince their routine, I don't see any feeling there. So how Gusev can obtain less "Musicality" then they "do"? Obviously this system is just for the sake of appearances. %/
Where is this 'dance' going to end up?? I don't agree with the policy that IDSF took...sport- is the wrong direction and we can see this reflection on the performance...
