I have the 4.5 with baffles out, but still got factory header with cross over and cat in. I'm bout to order the shark road true dual header. Hearing yours makes me excited to get the header ordered. Only bike I've heard sounds as good as yours is my buddies 08 ultra with tab zombies and a true dual header. The slip ons definitely sound better than gutted factory mufflers but that true dual header makes the real deal difference in sound.
It was late night and trust and believe i keep my gloc 30 in the holster every time i ride so I was prepared to chase a mf down about this iPhone 12 lol
Man, I wished I could’ve seen this before you bought those. About 700 miles in my shark road. slip Ons gotten really tinging and started backfiring. I wouldn’t recommend these to anybody. Of course I could’ve gotten a shit day of making them but I kind of doubt it. They sounded great until I hit right around 700 miles the low and dropped out and started back from iron like I was making popcorn, and before anyone says anything my engines are just fine I’m still trying to find new slip bonds and I haven’t decided yet
I have the same pipes on a different bike, a 2007 Yamaha Royal Star. Plenty loud and my next door neighbor hates them. I'm looking at buying an Ultra as a second addition since the Yamaha is paid for and now turned 89k miles. I think I'm going to put a set on the Ultra when I find the one I want.
Now that I have had them for a while and now they are off my bike these are loud yes but horrible for your machine made my bike run super lean Engine stayed ungodly hot I would not recommend these anymore RineHart racing and Vance & Hines all day I’ll upload another video of the new exhaust sometime this week
@@bassisthatyou8755 I have them on my Yamaha and they did the same thing. Once they "broke in" they did not make it run hot anymore and I didn't have the lean issue except for top gear when I would shift to it. I've had them on the bike for 2 years now.
1:09 it sounds like a hot roded 2009 nissan pathfinder 4.0l v6 reving 6 rpms with true dual streight pipes facing streight out the back whenever you reved it up to 6 rpms.
