Nice review as always. Just wanted to reply to some of the comments. It has 4 wheel disk brakes. This is a more base model the door handles are black instead of body color and 16 inch allows are an option too. Car looks better in person than it photographs.

Wow Hyundai has come a long way since the Accent was first introduced, looks upscale inside. It's a nice little car. I like how they have the same key as the older Elantras and Accents (:

This model of the accent comes to the Egyptian market with such nice features including: 16" alloy wheels, ABS+EBD+6 Airbags, fog lights, auto-dimming rear view mirror with built-in screen for the rear view camera, parking sensors, multi-function steering wheel, bluetooth, keyless entry with start/stop button, all with the standard features Kyle showed throughout the video (some models comes with sunroof too)

we bought a 2011 about a week before they announced the new one :(, even dough Im very satisfied with the vehicle, its very comfortable and decently equipped, and its very more resistant than any american car, it really fells more solid than a RAM pickup or so, a good buy for young drivers. I live in a place where parkings are very narrow and people always hit other cars, and the accent's bumpers appear to be rock solid it never damages, not even the paint gets scratched.

i have the 2013 model of this car. its not a bad car actually. i really like it.

just got my new Hyundai Accent 2012 1.4 a/t.. a very affordable price.. it has an 14" alloy wheel.. back up sensor, back up camera, 7" dvd touchscreen display, immobilizer and fog lights.. i got the promo! haha! and oh, i forgot to mention that it also has a 3 year LTO registration and 5 years warranty plus 1 year roadside assistance and many more.. they also gave me a free umbrella.. hahaha! now im really enjoying my accent! excellent running condition..

Now's a great time to be working at a Hyundai dealership. It's sooo much easier to sell and meet monthly projections and goals when the product you're trying to sell isn't complete crap. Kudos to Hyundai for making salespeople's lives that much easier! :)

Here in Saudi Arabia, we have the full option...including a push start button, leather seats, garage home link, fiber glass-ish dash...the works! You have to see it to believe it.

@MetaView7 The sedan only comes in 1 trim, GLS. An optional equipment package is offered that includes alloys, cruise, upgraded interior trim, etc.

I love it. Looks almost perfect but my only beef is that it needs more cup holders! lol

The angle from the rear to the front is very nice. In 2007 I bought a New Civic EX and paid 20K! This Accent has nicer interior, the same horsepower, A lot better MPG, and cost over 20% less and is 5 years NEWER with a much better warranty. SPend $1300 more and get Cruise, Bluetooth, piano black accents, upgraded premium upgraded interior, and so much more! A side note. The civic was fun to drive and did have a sunroof. TY Kyle. Please do the Wagon when it comes a loaded one. :)

best looking sub-compact out there, looked at one yesterday, other choice was the yaris 4 door sedan and the other was a new corolla, ive had a corolla since 97, and not once has it broke down on me, but we'll see:)

Once was a time, when I couldn't even look at an Accent, because it was so painful to look at it. Well, those times are over. Considering that the GLS is the lower trim level, it's still surprisingly pleasant, both its exterior and the interior. One still couldn't mistake it with a luxury vehicle costing double or triple its price, but that wouldn't be fair anyway.

Wow, it has a key lock for the Trunk! Many new cars took it off.

@protochris I'm not sure where you live that the Accent is in such high demand, but in my area, you can get a 2011 Accent GLS for $11K, which is $3K under the MSRP.

Well i do have a GL but i still do have the steering wheels mounted controls for audio. the premium package is the GLS.

@MyJP1991 Go for the Elantra. It's more spacious(it's a midsize car by EPA standards) and its fuel economy estimates are nearly identical to the Accent. The interior quality is unbelievable for a car in it's price range(It's almost as good as a Lexus ). You can get a'lot for your money. Make sure you go to a good dealer though. Some will try to get you in over your head for price because it is a really nice car!!!! Check out the Forte too it's nice with a little bit of sportyness. Hope I helped.

Hyundai - Now class competitive from bottom to top. Regarding the question of "no keyless"/remote keyless entry it's an option on the GLS and standard on the GS and SE trim level. The GLS has a starting price of $12,445...

It has been a long time since the last time I saw a new car with 14 inch wheels.

Do you guys hear that light engine ticking mine does the same thing it drives me crazy because people have told me that's not good then some others saying its fine just loud fuel injectors idk what to believe...any help please....

@derbigpr500 go to hyundaiusa and look for the accent and it says which trim models this model is the base model, you can get a high trim model, that has more features etc.

@S2500Dog Timing belt and water pump changes are so annoying. I replaced them on my friend's 02 Accord and it would be easier to just throw in a new engine. I like the idea Hyundai's new engines don't come with timing belts.
