2012 Jaguar XJL Portfolio - WINDING ROAD POV Test Drive 

12 years later, i just owned this car 2 weeks ago and it is still stunning.

to hell with commentarys, i love the silence in their videos its amazing. you hear the car and only the car. no jibber jabber.

You have to see this thing in person and drive it to fully appreciate it. Its incredibly handsome and has an incredible amount of presence. The interior is also spectacular.

Idk about you guys, but this car is pretty rare where i live (Nj). You would see 10 BMW 7 series for every one of these.

This is by far one of the best POV videos I have seen! You can clearly see out in front of you, and it wasn't shaky. I do agree with seinsmeld13 though, it feels empty without the commentary. Just my 2 cents. - DT

Jaguar always had some of the most beautiful interiors IMO. A friend of my fathers has this very same car. Even in the same color actually. Very upscale. First class accommodations all the way!

I think this car is absolutely beautiful. What did you guys think of the LED main display? That was the only part that I'm iffy about.

The interior looks great, and I love the instruments' backlight movement, but... Exterior fit and finish look poor for a machine in this class. Mismatched corners, uneven cut line gaps, and orange peel in the paint you can see in a video. Where is the attention to detail?

I am considering an XJL Ultimate as a limo for my office, and will be trying one out in Paris very soon. I find your road test to be frankly ridiculous, these silly "accelerations" to 60mph are totally pointless. If you do a road test, get on a serious road accelerate to 120mph, then get into some long curves and a mountain road.and show us what this thing will do. You could also compare it to a S63 or an A7L.
