Ok this one is just really smart engineering end to end! Though I do find it kinda cute that small chocolate buttons end up making larger coins. What an exchange rate.
They're still making it clown Google "John Adams gold coin maker" Y'all are reactionary 18 year olds, stfu and get some years in before you pick some stupid shit to complain about
I still have it! Havent used it in a while, but i loved to make personalized coins as gifts when I was younger😅 i am 27 now and want to pass ir down to my nephew😂
@littlesushie:dude with other machines you barely run out of ingredients since you get stuff from the store and make your own ingredients to use with the machine. Like the easy bake oven recipes you can do your own recipes…etc… you just have to get creative with the other machines.
i like this too, but that’s because i can’t eat the actual store bought chocolate coins since im pretty allergic to the chocolate they use so i haven’t had these in so long
@@Truly1918 How is it dangerous? Any child old enough to operate it would probably know not to do stuff like sticking fingers into cutters and even so I doubt any of the moving/sharp parts in it would actually be powerful enough to seriously injure somone. The only real risk I can see is with getting hot water into the little canteens, but I'm sure the instructions have "get your parents to help" all over that step.
My oldest daughter (22 now) had this for Christmas one year. It didn't melt chocolate too well, so I had to teach her how to melt it over a pan and hot water. But apart from that, it was pretty cool. I'd totally forgotten about it, actually. I love it when you see something that reminds you of things you've not thought of in tooo many years.
@@willergordonhaha. My mom bought the Barbie Coco maker and never bought anything for it. She screamed at me for “Wasting milk” when I put it in the small cups.
I would definitely buy this... i loved this so much as a kid, i always played as the pirate and hid them away in the house... once i forgot them, they started melting and molding arround the house with a delicious molding smell. 🥺
When I was younger, I watched this youtube channel called my lucky penny shop. He made a video on this exact same toy. I can't believe it's been 10 years! It feels like it was yesterday when I watched the video.
i remember i used to love playing with one of these when i was little but i was too young to understand how to make them 💀💀 i just entertained myself by pressing the button and spinning the handles like it was the control panel of a spaceship
I WANT THIS IN MY HOUSEHOLD- Also a question for ASMRPlayroom: was the chocolate expired or brand new?, because if you get an old snack maker toy, the little ingredient thingies are most likely expired.
I had this one! Let me tell y'all you were not missing out. The chocolate isn't tempered, so it comes out really soft and bendable, but also hard enough that none of the designs actually stick to the coin. There's also only enough foil for 3-4 coins, and after that you're screwed
@debbiechan8657:techincally there is different kinds of chocolate to make gold coins with for the other gold coins so it just depends on what kind of chocolate gets used. If you use the right kind of chocolate that certain people actually like of course it’s gonna taste good
