In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK350 Roadster. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

@VooDooXII The car has motion sensors and other various sensors that monitor your posture. If you become tired your posture changes and when the sensors recognize that the coffee light comes on and in extreme cases the steering vibrates.

This is a piece of difficult-to-surpass applied art. Unique, highly individualistic, yet impeccably tasteful in its execution. Some credit should be given to MB for taking consideration about fuel consumption also.

To the commenters below, the reason it's limited to 4k revs is because it's in economy mode, you have to click the button by the gear stick to put it into sports or manual mode to get the full revs!

The styling on this car is so much better than the previous generation. I love the SLS-style interior as well, and these cars have always sounded great. Can someone explain what that coffee cup icon is on the display in the gauge cluster? Is that like a "take a break" indicator?

Hey Kyle, you shouldhve someone step on the brake pedal when you film the back to show the brake lights, since they don't always light up with just the running lights.

i noticed that there's only two window buttons on the driver's door, even though there's four windows. is it possible to use that center button in the roof control to put all four of them down when the roof is up?

When the car "detects" you falling asleep, it honks the horn and displays a coffee cup sign in order tell you it is time to rest. Kinda funny

Only issue I have with it is that the stick shift is only available on the base model.

Just a note, I HAVE this car and your review of the trunk space isn't entirely accurate. The cover inside the trunk is there so that there's room for the top to be stowed. If you're not going to put the top down, you can fold that cover away to release a trunk that is literally twice the size that it is with the cover in place. It's the largest trunk in it's class.

I don't know about all, for instance I don't think a manual S-Class would sell very well. But the SLK and SL are sports cars and should at least come with the option and not only on the base model.

And also the car is not electronically limited to 4000 rmp; it is electronically while stationary to 4000 Rmp. It is the same with my Audi. This is a limiter to protect the engine from wear and other bad stuff.
