You are close, to reset the oil indicator message; turn ignition 2 clicks to accessory position then depress accelerator to the floor 3 times then turn off ignition switch. :)
Your welcome my friend any other questions regarding that year of dodge diesel ,just ask and I will be delighted to try and help a brother diesel owner ! 🍺😎
Thanks so much! Needed help with this...was nervous about the pressing on the gas pedal too...(guess this aint the old days with carbs) AND 8.1 MPG?? damn, my truck is bigger and Im getting 15.1 constant with mine. Too much heavy foot? haha
Well Mike I thought I did my best to show how to do it with me counting was how fast I was stepping down on the fuel peddle , this was filmed using a 2012 ram 3500 , and if it does not work I use dodge cummins diesel forum to learn and ask people my questions and problems good luck my new friend
It will work if you turn the ignition switch 2 clicks and slowly press down on the fuel pedal three times and shut the switch off , because mine was a 2012 and you see right on the video on how it worked …. Good luck ! Even take the key out of the ignition when done …. 😎
I got it finally. All I did was click the key two places, pump the gas 3 times and shut it off, remove the key, and then reinsert the key and turn on. Thanks.
