I noticed this car sounds really quiet when he shuts the door, man when he said "tight doors" they were tight doors, I think I am gonna make this my first vehicle
THis is the best review I've seen on this car, simple and straight to the point, all features and not too much blah blah blah, excellent review, thanks, I am buying this car NOW, thanks for all the information
@GNCAaron Well fog lamps are visible through fog thus being named fog lamps. Usually, a car may only have front facing fog lamps notifying the driver on the oncoming lane that there is a vehicle approaching. Rear fog lamps now enable people in your lane to see you in the fog and can lessen the chance of accidents.
i have this car and i can personally say that it is a great car. the engine makes sound because its a sport engine. this car is perfect for someone who is not comfortable driving a big car.
The FIXED glass panoramic roof reminds me of the Explorer in Jurassic Park. It's funny, since that was a novelty back in 1993, but now it's a feature on a lot of SUVs.
You will be surprised how capable this baby is Off- Road, don't let the looks fool Ya, James May Drove one in a rocky, muddy and sandy Surface...and boi oh boi...it owned the Road
Are you sure it's replacing the LR2 in the US? In the British and European markets the LR2 (we call it 'Freelander') is staying along side the other models. Evoque is regarded as entering a completely different segment in markets here.
When did you hear it was replacing the LR2 in the US??? The site shows both... plus it would be more just them getting rid of the LR2 then actually replacing it, since the LR2 is a "Land rover" and the Evoque is a "Range Rover." I don't know why they would since spitting the two groups they are showing how the LR2 is for utility and off roading, while yes the Evoque can do that, its more sporty and luxurious. I hope they are actually keeping both. It would be smart to keep that lower price.
@LordKevin92 Most likely the dealer has used this vehicle for errands and personal use. That's one thing you gotta watch out for with new cars. Always check the miles because some dealers really do rack them up on their lot vehicles. .
I don't think you are right in saying it replaces the LR2 (aka Freelander), the two share the same chassis and at least in Europe will continue to be sold alongside each other. They are pitched at different market segments, the Evoque is supposed to be higher end and more of a prestige vehicle.
@TonyPerry100 Range Rover (Land Rover) and Jaguar are both owned by the same parent company (Tata Motors) so there would be some sharing of components and styling between their vehicles
Hey Kyle, man i just want to tell u that u make the best car reviews any were on RU-vid. I have been watching your car for like 2 years and i just wanted to ask u if maybe u could make a vid of a land rover range rover supercharged autobiography. thanks Kyle your awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@eden20111 I say the BMW X6. One thing that bugs me about the ZDX as well as the Evoque is I don't really see a purpose in them. They're not great offroaders and they're not great on the street either. Now the X6 isn't necessarily a great offroader either, but it by far outhandles the other two on the street. And even though the X6's design is controversial, I personally quite like it. Plus you probably get the best, most luxurious interior, even a hint better than the Evoque's.
@GaelicFlame the asthetic aspects, not most features, she made a simple comment about how she wanted a car that could be comfortable and stylish everywhere to a designer
A nice and thorough tour as usual. But I heard you say this is the replacement to the Land Rover Freelander? I am from the UK and this is not the case. See, the Freelander is from the Land Rover division and is the little brother of the Discovery, while this is Range Rover's little brother. Perhaps it is different in the US, but these models are sold side by side here. Unless I misunderstood what you said, then my apologies. :)
I hope other car manufacturers dont start using the shifter that Range Rover used. Looks like a car that you would by purely to show off to your friends. However ive heard this thing is great for off road use so that lifts it back up which is good.
Nice little car, definitly has unique styling. I do like it, though one thing caught my attention.... what was that odd noise toward the end of the video? Was it the Evoque making the weird noise? Otherwise a great and informative vid, including the nature shots, LOL.
What I don't believe in are the knob control gear shifter. It's fine if it was a fixed knob(meaning sticking out all the time) but if that motor that brings up the knob goes...how are you ever going to shift that car?
Disculpa es buena elecciones tener este Auto, Dime en que año crees que le puedan poner un motor V6 o V8, y otra consulta por que vota Agua por el tuvo de escape cuando haces que arranque
@iENJOIskating209 Yeah, that's a good point. It'll be interesting to see what they come out with. Sometimes the concept car is totally different to the production model. But we'll have to wait and see!
