He got a bad drive in the Meadowlands pace. He should have stayed 3rd on the outside behind cover. Come three wide at the top of the stretch. Great horse.
@@judyhebert2939 I was at Greenwood and Mohawk since the 1960's. At the time Paul drove the horse he would have been considered a less than average driver at those tracks and by world standards a terrible driver. He did get better but that was about 10 years later. Ron Waples senior would have had a big shot at a 1:45 flat mile aboard Somebeachsomewhere at the red mile in Lexington.
@@judyhebert2939 Remember Ralph Hanover, remember who drove him? Remember the offspring of Ralph Hanover? The offspring were all pigs due to the greatness of the driver aboard. Why do you think the offspring of Cam Fella and Somebeachsomewhere were great? Because the drivers of both horses were a bunch of bums who should be driving horses at the B tracks at the time like Barrie Raceway and Orangeville Raceway.
@@comesahorseman Did you see what Dexter Dunn has done with Bulldog Hanover since Jack Darling handed over the driving assignment to him from Jody Jamieson? Dunn would be a good second or 5 lengths faster than Jamieson on any racetrack. The same would have been true if John Campbell had of driven Niatross in the time trial. By the way a half sister to Bulldog Hanover makes her maiden debut this Friday at Mohawk. Same owner as Bulldog Hanover out of a better sire.
