LouisvilleDrummer.com brings you exclusive coverage of the 2012 World's Fastest Drummer - Battle of the Hands competition at the Summer NAMM Show in Nashville, TN.
I love that one one lady in the background "wow look at him go" "ooh this is a good one" "look at his hands" "EXACTLYYYYYY" "bring it home" and then just random screaming😂😂 she was like everybody's mom
That Justice Michael Kid was extremely impressive. Not only was he really fast, but he had great technique. He was using that Moeller motion really well.
Mike Marion watch videos of myself, Matt Smith, Tom Grosset & Daniel Rice :) we're all drumset drummers, but this is a fun and endurance event that we like to do. nothing musical about it and it's not intended to be
Zakk Never pretended that I could. I never said he wasn't a good drumstick shaker. But the fact remains, those guys are not drummers. If they are, well you couldn't tell by this video.
+Zakk 1/9 you say? easy...personally i play drums since 10 years so far (i am 17yo) and can easily do 400 without even practising...and getting 7th out of 65 at the swiss drummer championsship is not that bad at all wich means that i can play...with doublebass i even got 800...but the "professionalls" get more like 1500...so neither of those conquest would i join
+Supermann124 You may be good at drumming but you should try for the spelling and grammer bee next. :x If I cared though, I would say that's neat :) If I cared-
+Jaymz Hetfield I agree that buddy rich is a legend and has way more talent than they do when it comes to technique, but Arron kitcher can play faster than anyone I've ever seen, so in this context Aaron would be better than buddy
+Singlesniper2 but have you seen Aaron kitcher play? 🤔 the only drum playthrough I've seen of him, he doesn't have any mics set up, meaning what you hear isn't what he's playing
I'm 16 years old, been playing marimba / xylophone only for 6 years. Played drums for fun, my personal record is 872 , feels good to be like 6-7th place with these guys.
Hi im still looking for my performance at Tomm Lee outta Vancouer from 2012 any options of where to find that day I'm 680+ hands n 740+ feet.. I was the contestant to compete both hands n feet
While I can appreciate the muscle control and stamina, this really should not be called "Fastest Drummer" as they are doing no actual drumming. This is akin to having people dribble a ball as fast as possible and calling it "fastest basketball".
***** Well, most of these guys are actually pretty slow and they have sloppy technique. The guy at the 2 minute mark seems to be doing all right (didn't bother watching more that about 3 mins, so can't say if more of the guys are fast), but there are lots of bands playing in tempos upwards of 300 bpm. 16ths in 300 bpm gives you 1200 strokes in a minute, so even if they couldn't keep the tempo up for a minute straight, over 1000 shouldn't be a problem. The "gravity drop trick" is usually called "gravity blast" when incorporated in a beat, otherwise just freehand technique.
