Well, I went to the cycle store for some oil today. Left with a 2014 V star 1300 touring. Super nice bike, rides like a dream.

i honestly dont know if i would even like an 1800. maybe for some people but this is probably as powerful as i'd like to go.

I’ve got a 2008 VStar 1300, and the only thing I don’t like are the handle bars. The angle of the handles are too intense and causes soreness in my wrists. I’m looking to replace them. Other than that, I absolutely love the bike.

I have this bike, only thing I did not like was it sounded like a sewing machine. So I upgraded to a 4" cobra set up and it sounds like a twin is supposed to sound. Oh yeah.......

at least the windshield is high. my 650's as high as possible but doesn't do me any good

how would you compare a 1300-1500 like this to the vtx1800?? Im looking at both right now and can't decide which route to go with. Im switching over from a sport bike to a cruiser so part of me wants the raw power of the 1800 and the speed, but i don't know if its just overboard and pointless lol please help

if you want speed why get an 1800 cruiser... ?????? way to heavy.. ive got the xvs 1300 enough power and not to heavy like a vtx 1800

Shawn needs an automatic or CVT transmission, he still hasn't learned how to use the transmission properly

@@justinnelson1 Though it could be partly from trying to maintain a conversation, he often does not down shift the transmission to where the engine is in the reasonable power band to get back on the throttle. This puts alot of extra wear on the drive train, and engine's piston connecting rod bearings.
